Best Place Vendome album. It has been a year and I listen to some songs of this album every day. Hard decision between this and the first album. But on average Close to the Sun is better.
Great song. You can start to heart the creeping of age in Michael's voice now. Also, hint of a lisp? Maybe chewing gum while singing. Who knows. Still sounds amazing, and can't wait to hear him on Pumpkins United with Helloween. Hope that doesn't end Unisonic, but if it results in a split Helloween album with Michael on one disc, and Andy on the other, I wouldn't mind ;) Place Vendome are top notch!
Célio é fan do Deris e não do kiske. Ele tá em todas que envolve ex membros do helloween. assim como eu! A diferença é que Kiske pra mim é a melhor voz do planeta rsrs...
I was like... hey, long time without listening to Place Vendome. I searched it on youtube, and then i see this and i was like holy shit! I listened the song and fuck, i almost passed out because of how FUCKING AWESOME is the song and the video
Everyone is praising Kiske, where is the praise for Jani Liimatainen who made the song?? Too bad almost everything on the album is written by others than the band.
Jani IS also a great songwriter! Cain's Offering has gotten nothing but praise, even though u don't like it for some reason! :O And the chorus in this song rocks! But I have NEVER ever heard Kiske sing so BAD as in the verses of this song!! Holy shit that sucked! And Jani is known for demanding PERFECTION in vocal recordings, so either this was not supervised by Jani or someone was heavily drunk for letting this pass on tape... Absolutely abysmal performance that ruined otherwise good song :S
