This video is so human. Backstage, last minute rehearsal, cover band sounding in the back... but it's not your local band with friends, it's Brian Molko and David Bowie. Brilliant!

[Loved the David Bowie's never disappearing smile :) ] I feel Brian's subtleness and sensitiveness and a bit of teenage-like shyness is going in such a surprisingly natural manner with his image today as a mature man, he still seems to be such a delicate soul. Years go by and I still love listening to him and my heart warms up when I hear his voice and see his face :) lots of love, Placebo fans

It's so strange. I have a friend with whom we occasionally do acoustic gigs and we often play this song in their version, she sings for Brian, I sing for David... and it's really weird seeing them rehearse in a small room, not unlike her kitchen... with background noises and a silly twinkle of an unplugged guitar.... is a very human experience. Thanks for sharing.

Victoria V Maybe when you have loved and grown up with someone's music, art and fashion, so you can chart your stages of life to different albums and styles for over 40 years, YOU will be emotionally moved and upset by their passing? Maybe you're just cold and unfeeling? I know which I prefer to be! As for 'XXI century problems', it isn't a 'problem' to me, and certainly has nothing to do with which century we are in! Particularly as my love of all things Bowie spans TWO centuries! Try having some empathy and not labelling things 'stupid' that you just clearly don't understand!

Such good jamming together. David, his head, shoulders, his whole body tilting to keep time, his soft yet persistent smile by the words at the end. Brian, curved over his guitar, counting the beats, tapping, harping sounds. Not a word was left behind, when the choir went double. Oh such a good take, Placebo. This is absaloutly beautiful and amazing!! I cried watching it i can see how happy Brian is that he got to perform and become good friends with David Bowie. I was on this tour working as the tour manager for the opening band Flick. This was a great show! I was in this room for a moment before they started rehearsing and saw David and his wife. Great memories!

I also was in my late 30's when I eatd Taste In Men' & been smitten with Placebo, Brian ever since. Always loved & admired David Bowie, such a gifted and BRAVE beautiful humanbeing. RIP Bowie. Low was your first album I heard when I was 6. I've been hooked since then. I saw Placebo live in Dublin this December and they sang this with a tribute to Bowie on the big screen it was very moving.

I think there was much more to it than just that! Brian has a similar attitude to not wanting to 'conform' and reach beyond his own, and other people's comfort zone! To embrace their, and other people's individuality and 'inner freak' and not feel isolated by their uniqueness!
