You prolly dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother lately =)
Molko sings his heart out here. He's one of the few musicians who do live shows consistently and beautifully. And they change. And they don't just entertain. They move you emotionally. What a wild child! Always stay good, but always stay wild.
the whole gig is amazing but this performance is just unique! the improviation at the end, especially with the piano and guitars is perfect for a Jazz festival :)) Placebo rocks!
Yessss! Just love the guitar feedback as the song starts to close out. Those scrapes and screams come from deep inside Brian's guitar soundscape. Reminds me of a guitarist who no doubt inspired him to play like that, David Bowie's Adrian Belew and also possibly Reeves Gabrels.
Best Live Band ever...I love their records, I love to listen to their music in the album version, of course, but I have to say that there is nothing else that give me chills like the perfomances they make in live shows. And this is something valid from 1997-8 to 2010, maybe for different things or "way of being" of the group, but without any change in quality. In a period of music that put the focus on the recorded and the "made-to-sell" like the one in wich we are, they're an amazing exception!
while watching this, just.....only...one thought's occuring to me. 'i'll regret to continue during the rest of my life that I WASN'T THERE' this gig....wow.....A M A Z I N G...............
