Thank you for your beautiful comment. July month is one of the best time to visit Jog Falls if you love rains. If you go in August/ September, you'll see more flow in the waterfalls. Surroundings will be green. If you don't like too much rains, visit in October/ November.

Yes you can hire easily. You will find many cabs outside Jog falls itself. Book from there. Otherwise inform your hotel staff and they will call cabs for you. We wish you all the best. :)

There is a train station nearby town ‘Sagar’ my birthplace and my mom is from here a Hindi Teacher with a ‘‘B.A.,’ M.A.,’ degree, She was the back support for my Dad who was an Engineer on This Mahatma Gandhi Hydro Electric Power station at Jog to have a successful career as in Engineer who had worked all over india 🇮🇳 His next project was ‘Bhilai Steel Plant’ where yes Mahadevans dad had worked as Jr under my Dad. Later my Dad was made an Executive Engineer in Assam with Indian Oil. Yes I am proud of my heritage and proud to be an Indian 🇮🇳 Happy adventurous travel 🧳 stay safe and enjoy...🙏🏽

@@vivekdiwan2455 You can get it from any place Railway or Jog Falls. Outside station and at Jog Falls gate many cabs wait. For station to Jog Falls auto cost was Rs 300/- Also, don't miss the "Welcome to Jog Falls" bridge.
