Take 2. Messed up the first one. Fixed now. Still not great but hey, you don't expect that from me right? Then again, Draume makes everything good at the very least. Go buy one. Do it. Also check out the links below.

Damn, I haven’t been so eagerly awaiting a pedal in a while! Sitting by the door singing “wait a minute Mr. Postman”” . I can’t wait to run this early chain and have these amazing sounds traveling through the board. Traded a CBA Darkworld which is fantastic for early chain/pre-dirt/ambient reverb stuff. Great review as per usual!

Love this demo, good work (along with the Fabrikat one too, v good). Got my order in for a Draume last night, can't wait to get lost in it a while when it arrives.

Thanks! Nice. There have been a few changes to the latest Draume so there may be some slight differences between this demo.

Your favorite sound on the metal mode is also my favorite I would probably overuse the shit out of it and already overuse effects chains I build with different effects that sound similar it's like spooky controlled chaos chorus

Have you tried dark world? I’m looking for a good weird reverb. Had the dark star it was good but I returned it. Looking at empress, dw and this one. Maybe loomer I like the reverse

Never got around to Dark World. Clips i've heard sound fine but never got me wanting. Empress Reverb has great weird algos but the normal ones are a bit bland so it felt a bit like overkill having one when only using a couple of sounds.

Great demo, thank you. I think I'm about to pick one up but am curious what the noise floor is on the pedal. The builder was kind enough to provide some info, but I'm curious about your experience. Are you getting any underlying noise when you're not playing but the pedal is active or playing very soft/sparsly? I've found, for example, that the DBA rooms has a slightly higher noise floor than the Mercury 7, and due to the kind of music I play I wasn't able to incorporate the Rooms pedal into my chain. I think for most though, DBA Rooms is perfectly fine and certainly an awesome character verb.

I've not noticed any noise, maybe some becomes a little more apparent with a low clock setting and/or high texture setting (and possibly high AM setting) but i'm usually not running everything like that, and I'm also running a pedal with an LPF after it too which tends to end up removing some noise. Also bear in mind my demo is of the v1, and the new ones are v2 which contains a few differences, so I couldn't speak for those ones (though I've not heard any noise complaints from people who have a v2). DBA makes sense, as noise is basically their modus operandi. I use other pedals which do have background noise (RM-1N especially) and to me that's part of the charm. Not always helpful though.

thanks! Be aware, my demo is the v1, the v2 has some slight differences so won't be exactly the same. And nah, I just needed a name for my music output and I liked it. Bit annoying tbh cos there are a whole bunch of Qualias out there....

@@QualiaSounds I actually prefer version 1 - a bit grittier and edgier, the V2 I guess is a tamer version.

@@andrewlau1496 i haven't used a v2 myself but i've heard that same thing a lot from people and going by clips i'd agree. v2 more refined perhaps, but the roughness of v1 is where the magic is for me.

@@QualiaSounds Agreed. I've played the V2 - but sometimes it always leaves me wanting just a bit more roughness...... and at times, a lot more roughness.
