This is a very interesting idea to try and implicate a dystopian worldmaking ideas into a modern day society and it feels pretty natural too Maybe thats why u feel this everlasting sadness and discomfort throughout the film,its unsettling because it feels important and close to everyone,not just japanese people - it is our days,our problems,almost everyone have an elderly relatives and so on Definetely gonna recommend this to watch too

This movie was profoundly sad yet beautiful. I watched it today and now i feel baddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.

Look up MAiD in Canada - this system very much exists and that guy in the audience was grossly misinformed.

This movie concept is shameful. All life is precious, no matter your age, no matter your ability. We feel eternity in our souls -- if you think at 75 you'll feel like your life is "topped off" "complete" you are mistaken. You feel just as alive as you were when you were 10. Because we are made for eternity. If you feel purposeless, seek Jesus. Don't. Give. Up.
