Started the fly lady method a few weeks back. All clutter is gone and house is being kept up. this is my first week for the zones. It has been a blessing. my husband even commented on how nice and tidy the house is. I have my binder up in my cabinet as well.

We had those type of amores at a wedding last summer and they were so amazing! They also had smores with reeces cups instead of regular chocolate and they were to die for!
I've been watching them all the time too. So many things to get done in a day. Do you ever write something down just so you can check it off? Lol! I do sometimes but it also shows something extra that I got done.

Firepits should really be given as presents more often! 😂 I skipped Church yesterday. Normally, I bring kids from 2-3 different families to church, and then have to be in charge of them at church, and I just didn't want to deal with it yesterday. Being infertile but having to deal with kids who are not really being raised puts me in the "it's not fair mindset" far too frequently. It was not happening on Mother's Day, so my sweet husband filled in for me so I could get a breather. 💜
I can bench more than you Zaryanova They don't see that side of it, no. They see disappointment and sometimes sternness when they misbehave (destroying things, cussing each other out, punching each other, shoving a mother). But they also see love when I make sure they have enough food at home, transportation to doctor's appointments, and a sympathetic ear when they have problems at school. None of the families are in good situations, and I spend a good portion of each week rendering assistance to the matriarch of 2/3s of them. That doesn't make it any easier for me to deal with, which is why I just need a day off from it every few months. (I've been doing this unpaid-social-worker thing for almost four years and would like to be putting all this energy into raising my own children instead, but infertility.)
can you adopt, i hope for you you can , i am not in your situation, i have kids, but i am sure it has got to be a hard thing , wishing you the best and hoping and praying you can have your dream of children.
Vickie Workman Thank you! It's an option we're considering, but not quite immediately. I turn 30 this year, so we've got a couple of years to work with probably; my mom had me at 36, and she likely had the same infertlity disorder as me.
I get that your situation isn't your ideal, but maybe you should realize the impact you do have with the next generation whether the kids look like you or not.

I've been going back to church which I missed and working with the family instead of fighting with them.

I had the great idea to take a picture with just the kids yesterday and it was crazy enough untill my son said hey lets get Coco (our 1 yr. old German Shepherd) in the picture. Yeah that picture will not be framed. I hope everyone has an AWESOME Monday!!

I always have a hard time determining this for myself... What is "resting" on Sundays to you? I heard a church talk where a lady says she doesn't even make dinner and makes her family get their own sandwiches. She never does any housework and uses the time for church things only. I thought that was an extreme interpretation... especially dinner! Sunday dinners are traditionally the best! What is your interpretation of making Sunday a "rest" day?
Happy Mother's Day. My mom and I went to a park. My mom made hummus sandwiches and I made Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. We're vegetarian. My sister couldn't come, she was sick. But my sister is coming today. We're going out to dinner.
