This is absolutely beautiful. I love the craft paper in the journal. It gives it an antique/ vintage to it. Your artwork is gorgeous. The fawn theme is definitely whimsical and fairytale like. I look forward to seeing much more from you in the future.

May I ask a question of curiosity.. what size is your journal? I ask because I'm trying to decide between A4 and A5?A6? I've misplaced the label. I get anxious about running out of space. Another question: does it need to be a grid journal book, or is an art journal ok? If you used both, which do you prefer?

Hi! I use an A5, I feel it has all the space I need for six months, sometimes even a bit extra! And it doesn’t have to be a grid, it has to be what you like 😀 I personally prefer the grid or a blank notebook! I like the practicality of the dot grid but also love the blank spaces of a plain page… A sketchbook or art journal would work great! It’s honestly trial and error, use them both and on time you will find your favorite 😉

I have developed a bad habit of overthinking.. so my journal journey will help break that. My art teacher back in senior high school days once told me that you can't stuff up an artwork, so I think I may need to have that at the front as my inspiration quote for the year 🙊 Thank you again and I look forward to more of your videos (have liked and subscribed) 😊 Happy 2024 to you, too!🎆

@emilyvickery8081 awww thanks!! Now I have a question for you 😬 English is a second language to me, so I don’t understand what “stuff up an artwork” means 😅 can you explain it to me?

@@NalaShore Sure 😊 it is slang for making a mistake.. like if you were drawing and you did something to it but it didn't work out how you thought it would: you 'stuffed up' the artwork and would need to re-do it. there was one time in art at high school (many years ago) where a guy dribbled brown paint onto my canvas painting. I told my teacher it was stuffed.. he prompted me to not panic and see if I could remove the paint. when I did, it smudged. from it I turned it into a tornado feature in the painting. mind you it fitted in with the painting. I hope that helps 😊
