my biggest 2023 goals are to continue studying Chinese and to balance that with studying for professional engineering exam :) definitely need to sit down and goal plan.
This is such a mindful and intentional way to plan your year! I love this approach to moving away from goal-setting as aspirational and outcome orientated, and instead making the goals tangible so you can enjoy the whole process.

I personally am celebrating becoming a US Citizen this year and being back at school to finish my bachelors!
My problem is always overloading myself with goals/tasks - projects seem like they won't take much time until I break them down into smaller pieces and then I realize I don't have enough time in a day/week to actually do that much (especially since I'm struggling with chronic fatigue). Trying really hard to not let this be discouraging and set reasonable goals for 2023 that will still let me feel like I'm moving forward.
I can’t not wait for more long form content! I could have wastched easily another 20mins of this style to conversation without even blinking an eyelid! Can’t wait for even more in 2023
I had to pause the video at 1:26. My word for the year 2020 was also "Connect" and I chose the word on New Years Eve right before 2020 started. I was hoping to connect with more people and connect with my loved ones. Well... 8 days later I met a guy who is my now husband. LOL! That was a LOT of connection! So while others might view the word "connect" as a fail for 2020 (hello, pandemic--talk about the MOST disconnected year), it most definitely was a connection year for me. 😊❤

I started a second Master's in 2022 and my goal is to complete this degree this year and to apply to a Ph.D. program in Psychology. Also, I have set the goal to be able to purchase a home for my family this year.

Can you please share your itinerary for Korea? It's on my long list for top travel places! I also love that you are going to switch to more long form RU-vid videos. I bought the template and it's absolutely amazing. If I can give some feedback tho...it would be great to see your weekly tasks on a monthly calendar as well...I like to see a monthly overview of what I need to do... :) but maybe that's just me....

I went ahead and grabbed your Notion template. 🪴 One question: I find this setup awesome for projects that have a clear beginning and end, but I'm struggling to make it work for long-term, skill-based goals like "Learn Italian" or "Get better at drawing/illustration". Since these are more abstract goals without a clear end date, I find it really hard to keep myself accountable / track my progress. Do you have any tips on this? How do you handle your Korean learning for instance?

One of goals for the new year is to take "Me Days". I am the person that is always doing something for school, organizations, church. etc then end up getting overwhelmed as I do not take breaks. So I hope to add "Me Days" to my schedule and have people around me that support that.
