Hi, I love your videos. Very informative and organized😊 I am in the process of licensing in California, and I will be able to give care for up to 6 kids in my small apartment. I am freeing up my entire place for them. But having doubts about age groups. I am going for teaching 2&3 years olds just like Sheryl you always talk about. But I see you have mix age groups. What would you say if I ask pro&cons for teaching mix ages? Thank you for your time in advance.
Thank you! And congratulations!! I would have to say that the age range of 2 and 3 are my absolute favorite! Having the younger ages poses several challenges because it’s hard to keep shelf materials out of reach most of the time. I’m kind of counting down the days until my youngest is 2 because she wants to do everything the big kids are doing but still has the strong baby impulses like eating paint and anything else. Lol It’s actually funny that you would bring this up because I was just thinking about what age range I would pick if I could and I would absolutely go for the 2/3. But they will all have such a variety of levels and skills at that age that you still really have to adapt and almost treat it like a multi age group. So great question and don’t doubt yourself, I think your on the right track!

I usually change it out every two to three weeks. But depending on how many days you do activities out of the week it could easily last a full month. It’s best to go off of how interested the kids are as well.
For sure! I just put the name tags and the journal pages up for free on tpt. I’m happy to make them all free but I worry I will make some other sellers a little upset. Lol. Hopefully I can get a website or a blog soon where I can just post links there. 🥰
