My heart and prayers are with you and all those impacted by the fires! My sister lives in Amarillo and my niece lives in one of the smaller communities directly in the line of the fires. Thank God they are both ok, and I am thankful for your safety also. Your spreads always come together so well despite what you are dealing with in your life. Thank you for being real and sharing your life with us.

I am so grateful that you and yours survived the fires. First responders are so special. Your nephew’s picture, in the center of your spread, felt like a big reminder of love. Isn’t it funny how siblings can be so different from each other. My cats were much like your oldest nephew…they both hated the camera. I ended up with many pictures of their “third eye” 😮. Wildfires scare me more than any other natural event. I’m so glad the fires have been stopped. Sending hugs and prayers to you and yours.❤

I am so sorry to hear of the horrendous fires, loss of animals, homes etc. we have had some shocking fires around Australia especially Victoria so I understand how hard it is to concentrate on anything else when such devastation is going on. I couldn’t believe it when you said it snowed one day, that is crazy !!! Glad to hear is all sorted now 🙏🏻👍🏻. Had to laugh about your “cycle” and the need to bake Cinnamon Scrolls, I blame Menopause 🤣🤣. I think we are entitled to lay the blame lol

I remember the news stories a few years ago. It was awful for y'all! Fun fact: y'all are on the same line (or very close) of latitude on the opposite hemisphere from us. Nerdy but I love geography. I used to teach world geography and would talk about your opposite weather or fires with my students when it was our winter.

She totally is! I’m planning to go to the shelter when school is out in May to get two kittens. I want to spend time with them and get them acclimated so that’s why I’m waiting. And with getting two one isn’t ever left alone. She was really sad and clingy when my older cat passed in December. It’s been hard holding off but it’ll be worth it!
