Doesn’t that bring a huge smile on the face of those who are watching the background and saying (finally I am at home) when the aircraft lands on Caribbean grounds, and tears 😭 on the departure when the plane ✈️ takes off with a huge sigh of sadness 😞 looking at the landscape and the mountains disappearing and now facing the clouds. 😔

It was a pleasure travelling on our beautiful Air Jamaica planes. The picture of the hummingbird gave that feeling of Jamaican pride.

This is beautiful seeing it for the first time

Omg I just got back home from Atlanta and word's can not explain how I feel, the joy, the climate it's like cooold n snowing there at some point, when I step out off the checkout point at Norman Manley International Airport and step into my worm but windy atmosphere after four and a half months I just lift my head towards the haven and give thanks for small but great mercy. We who travel know what it is to be blessed with this little Island we call Jamaica land of beauty, our tropical climate, I don't care how some of us discriminate this/our Island I will always come back home im a born and die harted born n bread Jamaican, trust me farine is not bed a rose. We just need to get rid of the bad weeds hey witch country doesn't have just that some more than others, it all boiled down to gi mi back mi sweet Jamaica.

That’s the saddest part is taking off and coming back home is like someone rip your heart out and tears just start to flow And the funniest thing about it is my son works for delta airline and I will never put foot on a airline he always say mom let’s go there let’s go here I say son just buy me a slice of pizza and I will stay home

Watched from Old Harbour, I do research on Vernam Field and Goat Island( two former US military bases of WW2). During WW2 Norman Manley Int'l Airport use to be Royal Naval Air Station HMS Buzzard and squadrons of Swordfish biplanes use to be based their caring out ant-submarine patrol.

I watched this video just to see my beautiful Cayman Airways taking off to come back home 🛫

Yes! You are correct about Air Jamaica 🇯🇲 was it was still around as well!! It was one of the safest in the skies. For now, I only travel to JA from NYC on Caribbean Airlines and not Jet Blue.

In my years of living aboard nothing to me when I stepped on a airline and it's a AJ. I don't understand why the government at that time sold out our country legacy. Bring it BACK.

Departures on the 30 Approaches on the 12 I haven`t seen any other airport that uses opposite runway traffic. As far as i can recall MKJP does this in the morning hours, and afterwards it`s 12 only for both. I wonder why that is.
