Great vid, Birmingham Airport is a great place I used to visit it quite often, my first flight was as a youngster from Heathrow in 1970 on a Dan Air chartered Ilusyian to Romania and later trips on the Trident to Switzerland and Airbus 320 to Germany. Thanks for a super upload, Best wishes to yourself, family, friends and fellow viewers.
When I moved to Germany I left from Birmingham Intnl on a Flybe Embraer 220, great staff and flight, they have a great team who help less abled folk too who I couldnt praise enough, with ADHD/Aspergers I didnt know booking in had changed so much as it had been years since I flew but they helped me from start to end. A super Airport.
@@royedwards8713 As always a pleasure, looking back to when I plane spotted, I had a great Pannini sticker book with all the planes mid 1970s,back then in Twickenham we stayed weekends in Manor Road and watched planes fly over, Vickers,Tridents we watched out especially for the various 747's especially the SP and other rarer models, Concorde was a real treat to see, around the hot year of 1976. Music back then was ELO, 10cc, Manfred Man and so on,magical times for a youngster. I finally did go on a Wardair 747 to Cannada and it was the first place I tried a steak on that flight that was in 1979, Best Wishes to Roy and anyone who reads this.
Aircraft at 13:55 taking off , its a Antonov AN-12 owned by Cavok Air. Ukraine reg freighters and are quite old as you can tell from the amount of the smoke. Good video though.
