Cloudy, cool and wet weather on this May afternoon. Plane spotting from the parking garages today and finding a typical mix of traffic, including Boeing 737s, Airbus A320s, and Regional Jets. A brief glimpse of a Lufthansa A350 was nice to see! Thanks for watching!

Thanks! I was a bit disappointed that the construction of the "A" concourse extension blocks the view now.

The A350 is a copy of the Boeing 767. You could barely tell the difference.

Thanks! It's really is hard to get into good spotting locations without getting security attention. Actually there is a spot, no longer accessible, that was the greatest spotting location ever. In the early days of the airport, it was awesome. High on top the dirt hill along the east side of 34R/16L provides one of the best vantage points. Sadly, no real access anymore.

Honestly you'd be suprised at how little there is. Denver has become a layover central for 737s and a320s. Inside, the restaraunt section gives you a great view of the gates and runways and it's hard to find a plane that isn't a 737 or 320.

I really miss seeing the 747 and A340 landing at Denver International Airport! Does anybody know why they stop Landing them there?

Hey keenbug keep your awesome Denver International Airport plane spotting videos this happens to be my #1 favorite airport besides Stapleton to watch airliners land and take-off only because my Uncle used to be a Air Traffic Controller at both airports and also my Oma used to work at both airports packing food at Sky Chefs !!! Can you recommend a good place to spot at the airport for me please and thank you ?
