Plane Window Time Lapse (XNA to LAX) 4K

I used a suction cup mount on the plane window to film the time lapse, I thought for sure the flight attendants would not allow that but I didn't have any problems. I will actually try renaming the video, in my case it is XNA->LAX so perhaps putting that in the title will increase search results for it. Thanks for watching!

I think planes don't fly high enough to see the curvature, but the camera lens does distort the image a bit

I actually used the GoPro 4 Silver in the video time lapse mode 4K. I also used a suction cup mount and a power bank to keep the camera running for almost 4 hours. Thanks for watching!

@@joshuareynolds5219 how do you prevent reflections/ dirt on the window showing up? I tried a time lapse today with the 9 and just see a ton of junk on the window!

@@shawnschreier5978 On both flights I was facing to the north so the window and all the debris was not in direct sunlight, so that could be partly why. In an older video I had the camera on the south side and there was much more reflections/dirt visible.

Yes sure, I actually used a GoPro 4 silver with a suction cup mount on the plane windows. Most of the time it was set to video time lapse 2 second interval and 4K, although I did double the speed of the final video files to make this video 60fps. When the plane was taking off I actually recorded just regular video footage and used the speed ramp setting in my video editor to increase the speed. Thanks for watching!
