Yes it's already confirmed that's coming. Heard it on another channel. Don't know wich one tho bcs i watch alot of planco 2 vids atm but droptracks are also confirmed if im right. Just not Switch tracks but i mean they must be a thing if there also droptracks
I really would love to see… 1. Trackless dark rides w/ options for drop sections and motion platforms 2. Switch tracks 3. Separate load/ unload stations 4. Unlimited map size for park recreations 5. Queue accommodations for pre shows 6. An option for moving wall pieces, such as a wall that lifts up to reveal scenery
I doubt number 4 is a possibility lol but would be nice. I never understood why we couldn’t have load and unload stations in the first game. When it was literally as simple as making two stations and putting an exit on one and an entrance on the other in RCT3.
Coaster loading stations were SO inefficient! If you're loading and unloading from opposite sides of the train, there's no reason for the riders entering to have to wait until everyone has cleared the platform before loading. Also, watching a mechanic waiting at the gate to fix a broken coaster until the queue empties was infuriating! I really hope they've updated the station dynamics!!
Better yet let the guests stay in line during breakdowns. I would also like chains you can open and close in the queue to extend the line when it gets long
Honestly I just hope that they will give us the oppurtunity to create a big capitalistic hell hole. I always wanted to recreate the magic of disney parks.
I also hope they allow us to add shops or vending machines to the que’s. So that we can let our guest let buy food and drinks while waiting for a ride. That way we can manage “thirst” problems more.
In that case, they need to add the nausea and puking mechanic afterwards, that it becomes harder to manage when the guests go on a ride with full bellies.
@@nickdentoom1173 maybe but people like me hate seeing people vomit or just vomit in general! I hope they keep toggling the guest vomit and guest littering as in planco 1
@@Daniel_Coasters Yeah, it toggling should be an option still as well obviously. I personally hope for more staff options as well, like medical workers for the people who got sick of the rides or got injured (Like a sprained ankle or something, it doesn't have to be serious injuries) and at the same time, i do hope they keep drowning out of it.
@@nickdentoom1173 yeah, they need to add ride ops that check restrains and your Minimum dispatch interval is how fast they check restraints maybe even 10 seconds faster then the interval to do the “all clear, dispatch” sequence
there is a huge diffrence, complexity wise, between switches and drop tracks a droptrack doesnt brake up the coasters loop which makes it relativly easy, in theory, to implement but a swtich track is diffrent (if it doesnt exit backward) a switch breaks up the loop and so is much more complex i dont say that they couldnt do it but i think it is very hard to make a intuitive and easy control logic thingy which is much work ig and probably wouldnt be used by most casual players but on the other side god damn they had years to make it work tell me if im wrong
Unfortunately, I agree with you :/ Even in NoLimits2, using automatic switch tracks is a pain, mostly due to the complexity of it :/ But it became so used in modern coasters nowadays that I still hope they worked on it, evec if it's only pre programmed track pieces like only a piece of track where you go backwards or a fake switch track for a fake maintenance area.
i agree for the most part but thanks to certain script mods, using switch tracks can be made pretty simple using it i forgot the same but its a block system thing that also allows swing launches and other stuff, considering that is a 3rd party tool, i think a big game dev could manage to pull off the same thing
Ik this is not spoken enough, but for me some sort of annual pass system with benefits. Like SeaWorld where you get exclusive benefits for higher tiers. It'll be neat to manage it to make sure you aren't losing money. Another thing is definitely bigger park sizes. With the addition of a Surf Coaster design (which by the way the only one in existence is in SeaWorld Orlando with Pipeline), many people/RU-vidrs might want to attempt to recreate SeaWorld or other real life parks. And for me personally, I would love to see some more dynamic guest reactions on rides. No more everyone raising their hands on airtime or blocking their faces. Looks like the trailer does hint at that (though not gameplay), the couple holding hands and the one lady leaning back
1: Single rider lines 2: Something like "Launch start tracks", where a train could sit for a few seconds and then launch... 3: With the switch tracks an easy way to do swing launches and other shuttle coasters would be cool. 4: Turntables like on Voltron 5: Dual loading stations 6: Onride photo sales booth that you can place at a coasters exit and is connected to a special photo track 7: As you mentioned: The option to add or remove trains. This could have an impact on profit, like if you have two trains on the track but don't need them, you start losing money because you run empty seats.
I would like to see 2 different coaster train options for example for a b and m inverted you could select the newer style trains with the vest restraints or the classic invert trains
1. i see your funny point with the drop waterslide but i think it glides back and forth it looks like 2. polar expressen at legoland billund resort goes in forward and exits forward at it drop track 3 great vid
I guess, this time, there wasn't a "Spoiler Sam" on the team. (if you exclude the F-Ups from Epic Store....) Can't wait to play this in a few month... still feels unreal... like a fever dream or something
switch tracks, swing launches, making all these new elements programable to any level. 1,2,3,4,5+ swings, more then one train style for each coaster style PLEASE! I want the new style rmc, intamin and b and m trains
Great video Marcus. I would like to see: More creative ride breakdowns Changing rooms for water parks Multiple park entrances Customisable trains Real ride manufactures Off boarding stations
I look forward to seeing the royalty free Th13teen trains in Planet Coaster, like we have for the Smiler stand-in that I don't remember the name of. More railway trains would be nice, the Connie express was very fancy and large - I want something smaller like planet zoo had.
I’m hoping on omnimover track rides with real dark rides (no switching day and night) and pre shows that hold a group of riders separate from the main line. Maybe left right loading from one ride to a switch track (big thunder examp)
Other than the obvious water parks I'd like to see hotels and restaurants that are more customized / dynamic. Yes you have decorations and can create a great hotel or restaurant and that's great but other than the aesthetic value that is where it ends. It would be nice to have management, menu customization and rooms that actually have to exist physically which would add an interesting equation in the way of space needed.
I also want turntables, swing launch (but not only back and forward once, but the times you want, like top thrill 2, which has one front, one back, and then another front launch), the option to change size of all (or many of them) flat rides, another drop tower with the option of changing height and speed (and if it's like hurakan condor, better), and fabbri boosters with the option to change height and ammount of seats.
I hope they go more detailed on this sequel! Showing restaurants interiors, Hotel interiors.. & least but a nice detail, as ppl who buys gifts on Just a momento carry a shopping bag, so we can know how many ppls buy at ours gift shops.
I found out that frontier always listens to the community! They gave us trackless rides and the tower of terror ride after people asking for it on the fora!
New Coasters features and Water rides are awesome. I also wish they do more with the tycoon part of the game such as ability to customize food and drink menus. And it would be great to see all building parts repaintable, resizeable and more doors/windows/trims, etc. But what ever it becomes please please please do not follow in Cities Skylines 2 path and mess it up. :)
A cool feature for coasters would be weather changing the friction on coasters slightly so you either have to close the coaster or risk it valleying and shut down which may cost the refurbishing cost to reset it.
I really hope there isn't DLC. I get it, they need to make money, but spending close to 100$ for every scenery pack is very unnecessary. We should have access to that scenery for free. But, other crossover DLCs are fine by me. Nobody needed the Ghostbusters DLC in PC1, but it was still cool nonetheless.
Strong disagree, management sims have a very long development cycle so needs some form of extra content to fund development of other titles. Have you played vanilla Cities Skylines recently? The amount of stuff that game was missing was insane, and it was 10 years between CS1 and CS2 so could you imagine having no extra content in that time???
It's not cheap for a developer to continue creating new content for a game. I much rather have the paid DLC and watch this game expand and grow over the years, otherwise with out it, you'll get the base game and that would be all you'll get.
3:03 yes, there are multiple coasters that have a drop track that exits forward- coasters like Inferno, and Primordial. I'm sure there are plenty more though 😂
Most drop tracks enter forwards and exit forwards since it’s a basic option so it could swing either way and please planet coaster 2 add an intamin blitz
I want essentially Planet Coaster (PC) combined with NoLimits 2 (NL2). If they manage to integrate the features of NL2 into PC 2 then it will be the perfect game; all the greatness of PC and the functionality of NL2.
The only problem with that argument is that unlike nl2 planco elements aren’t universal. The drop track coaster may have switch tracks but that doesn’t guarantee all will, but I’d be confident they will Either way I think this drop track coaster could be plancos most usable family coaster. I’d hope they’ll go all out with it having lifts & launches as well as maybe making the trains multi dimension like movie parks backlot tour
It’s not Cerbolten that’s a one off with its drop track, most coaster with a drop track exit it the same direction it goes in. Thirteen is more unique with its drop track
I just hope they make it so they have much more better lights and lighting. Because lights can go through walls on the og game. And i hope they make it so you can control the speed of dark rides. And you can add your own trains for darkrides because then i will be able to make alton manor
im only buying the game if they add switch tracks.. WHO CLOSES THE RIDE TO ADD A NEW COASTER WHEN ITS BUSY? thats just so annoying to me switch tracks NEEDS to be added ..
