Planet Coaster 2 UPDATES We Need! 

one thing i personally would love is updated/more realistic coaster sounds. B&M roars, realistic chainlift sounds, realistic break sounds (not the clicking break sound), and more kinds of screams and laughter from the peeps.

better paths, better water mechanics, ability to control a guest (your personal avatar in a park) the guest avatar can have its own hunger bar, energy bar, thirst bar so you can test your park as a visitor.

It definitely needs new coaster models (even some old coaster models) and definitely more features per model. I want a Vekoma Flying Dutchman or a modern Vekoma flying coaster. I want an S&S Axis coaster. I want a true RMC Raptor. For features, I want drop tracks, switch tracks, turntables, and basically anything that breaks the circuit at some point for the coaster. For gameplay enhancements, I want a better smoothing tool and better transitions on preset pieces. I also would really like to see more value placed on other aspects of guest enjoyment on a coaster - not just prioritizing airtime. Personally, I love hangtime, but building an inversion machine in PlanCo that focuses on hangtime is somehow not enjoyable for these guests when in the real world, it is. For other features, I think more signs and preset lettering in the scenery would be nice. Pathing could be made a little less janky. Better lighting effects indoors and at night. And more/bigger ambient effects would be great.

The editing and pacing on this were way better than they needed to be. Short, concise, to the point without sacrificing flare is how all videos like this should be, not an under-edited, 12 minute long rambling essay with an intro paragraph of how coasters have changed your life

I would love the ability to make Any of your wooden coasters a hybrid, without having to build ground up

This is my wishlist: 1. RMC Raptors 2. SNS Freespins, Air Launches, and Axis coasters 3. B&M surf coasters and double sided catwalk options. 4. Customizable stations and station length. 5. Weather 6. Improved breakdown mechanics. (Valleyed Trains, Cable snaps on hydraulic launch coasters, etc.) 7. Swing Launches, Drop tracks, and switch tracks. 8. Realistic preset elements 9. Better smoothing 10. Updated coaster sounds. (Intamin farts, B&M roars, etc.)

Transfer tracks for the love of God! I am also with you, maintenance needs an overhaul. I would love to see realistic breakdowns and really like the idea of evacuations! I would also like to see a game mode where the days are longer and you have to manage opening and closing times as well as the after hours park maintenance!

Great video! 100% agree. I'd also add: More modular colors would be nice. Like jokers purple and green track, or ArieForce 1s red and blue track. Having a use for transfer tracks More customizable flat rides

I’d like to see them improve their water rides. I’d love a shoot the chutes style water ride, a second flume boat option (think Dudley Doo right flume where the color can be edited along with the standard log)

I also wouldn't mind them adding a proper day/night cycle, make them a little bit longer and shorter (depending on what you'd like) and set up park hours, if that's how you wish to run things. Custodial doing spot cleans during the day but full cleans at night? Rides shut down at night? Small ideas like that which you could toggle if you wanted to run those cycles.

Would love to see more customisable flat rides And give us option to walk around the park and operating rides

I want breakdowns to happen for various reasons. It would be cool if Very rarely, a major issue, like a lift chain/cable snapping, which would take more time/money to replace in campaign/challenge parks

List of things i want for PlanCo 2: More coasters! More breakdowns! Announcements! CRAZY elements! Ragdoll physics (Test dummies)! More inversions! (e.g. Flying snake dive) More reasons for a coaster to crash! (e.g. Taking a turn too fast, Too much track stress, Wear-and-tear caused incidents, no up-stops.) No limit on the scenery! (Console edition.)

I feel like they should make it so we can see guests get into the ride vehicles and maybe even have another member of staff (not the operator) check the restraints. Just like real life.

On top of what you said, improving the complexity of the guests alone would be a huge factor of immersion for me! Improved AI such as seeking out tables for food etc. Family members waiting for others that are on rides (would add to ride exit planning). Weather and of course guests reactions to it. And most importantly to add more guest thoughts- favorite rides, more excited reactions when exiting rides they loved, overall more complex opinions of rides such as in rtc. More realistic management as seen in parkitect would be awesome too. Oh! And adding the ability to chain off sections of a long que path if the ride isn’t quite as busy. Edit: coaster rating system could be improved as well. Triggered events should add more excitement, and waiting at a block section (at the end of the ride) shouldn’t detract so much. It’s also strange to see such low excitement levels on the first drop of a ride. And recently I made a small woody that was absolutely packed with what would be ejector airtime and great laterals, but the game gave it a fairly low excitement rating I’m guessing because the coaster wasn’t very tall.

I really wish games like Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, Cities Skylines, and other similar type games, had a guest mode, in which you can walk, drive, etc... around, and even do stuff. I think it would make these kind of games more meaningful. Especially, if you can explore other people's parks and cities.

I have 3 more ideas: switch tracks, dedicated load and unload stations und more new coaster types(Flying launched, Omnicoaser, the thing that is Harry Potter and the escape from gringots, etc)

Add a heart line, and continuous roll to the coaster builder to make creating realistic and smooth coasters easier. Using the 4 metre method gets old!

Something I'd love is a vertex based coaster creation system sort of like the one in NoLimits 2 but more user friendly. It would make it a lot less tedious to make a properly smooth ride.

I actually would love to be able to set track elements on the stations raster and not only by adding to the ends. That would make it much easier to make compact and great themed rides, as you would place the signature elements first and connect them with auto tracks afterwards. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the old approach gone, but the raster in addition. Especially the alignment with station grid build elements is a pain in many cases.

Awesome vid Plip. Definitely need to get the word out on what we are all wanting in the next installment of this game. I would still love to see multiple stations like they did in RCT. Allow for a loading and unloading in separate areas. But, the flip, drop, and turntable track pieces are hands down the biggest addition needed for new creativity in PC2.

I've always found it interesting how, despite its age, RCT3 always seemed to have more shit than Planet Coaster. Moving components (it had this already right? I'm not misremembering?), heartline coasters, that spinny lift hill that pushes the car up, tilt coasters (including a type that doesn't even exist irl), alpine coasters, and a few other things I remember being in it and am hoping are not just Mandela effect shit

one thing I loved about rct is that the series would explore extinct and never made coaster types. I would love to see more of that in planco. reverse track as well would be nice. I would love to see more dark ride types in the game as well.

I think like a mode where its like your a contractor just building roller coasters in parks for the people who like building roller coasters and not so much the parks. I think this could even be an optional online game mode where if someone likes building parks and wants to focus more time on detailing and adding extra props and multiple people could design a roller coaster with given requirements and budget and then the park owner could select the one he desires for the park!

All I want are haunted houses, not like rides but more mazes.

I would like the ability to design a roller coaster models and trains. Make every current model have their own g limits and max/min specs, and be able to mix and match train/track features and styles that let you make the perfect original coaster for your own original model. Want to build a 500 ft Giga? You gotta design the model that can handle it. But since that's not gonna happen ever, working transfer tracks feels like the only realistic ask.

I definitely agree with the drop track!!! So when people recreate Verbolten they can do it accurately with the drop track! I want Hershey to have a roller coaster that features a drop track so bad because Verbolten at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my #1 coaster just for the drop track. Hersheypark is my home park so that's why I want them to have a coaster with a drop track, it takes close to 5 hours to get to Williamsburg for me. Also, I love the track movements when people are on it, like for example Ice Breaker at SeaWorld Orlando. After the train leaves the station it goes on a switch track that takes the train and the riders out to the launches and the rest of the track, I thought that was pretty unique.

I think they should have a feature that allows you to key in the how much degrees you want when building a roller coaster.

Launched RMC, mack spinner,switch track, drop track,RMC old coasters in the game, tilt track,animals,waterpark,axis coaster, and new coaster trains,free spins, ultra twisters,lots of new flat rides!

As ive said in all planco 2 related posts we need more queue options, assigned row stations and free choice. Double stations for wing coasters. Joined queues for 2 or more rides (starting with 1 queue and splitting later) for dualing shit. Single riders. Handicapped, Seperate queues for seperate rows. Fastpass, and ofcourse preshows or even boarding passes (timeslots) asside fro this also more ticket options and seasonal passes

To add on to realistic guests boarding trains why not have realistic operators too They can go by and push on the lap bars and give the all clear when the train has been checked definitely agreed with your last point though

The things i want are more aimed for stage, festival, concert designs. Like i want Winches that can move truss and lighting up and down and tilted, maybe some hydraulics can move truss up and down. More lighting types etc, A more refined ui for Display sequencer.

Please i just want a VR mode to experience my Park in VR everytime i've built some new attraction!

I got the game a few days ago, and it’s really fun. I’m playing on Xbox Series S and have been enjoying career mode and sandbox. I’m slowly getting the hang of things, like not having all my roller coaster’s nausea ratings being above 10.00 It’s a very fun game once you get the hang of it. I’ve heard about the Oswald-Eugene counter and I really, REALLY hope they remove that. While I doubt I’ll be building mega parks anytime soon, for the hardcore console players that want to build massive parks and the Oswald-Eugene counter is stopping them, I can only imagine how that must feel. Maybe they don’t have to remove it, but just a revamp allowing for wayyy more space on the next gen consoles,

hey nice video! is planet coaster 2 just a big update of the game or a whole separate game itself? also one of the features i would like is if they added a few animals to the game but not too many so it is like planet zoo but just a few to add some scenery and make a sort of busch gardens/seaworld type park

i need some transfer tracks to put trains in a shed for matinence or beachside it’s the end of the operating day/season and or a non busy day so not all trains need to be running. and i want to be able to have them be able to transfer while the ride is in operation like irl

This is not a knock against you, but I can tell you are not a creator that seeks realism xD More interesting things than lift hills are far down on my list of what I'd want to see in a sequel. I think track switches and ride ratings declining are an admirable wish list item. I think in general my wishlist items are: -greatly improved scenario play -improved performance optimization -streamlining of building tools -better integration of user generated content, perhaps to the point that custom flat rides are possible -better lighting system as to make dark rides and such easier -ability to make things like track and path segments invisible, as this can get very frustrating in certain situations. And this should go without saying, but retaining the best aspects of the original game would be very much desired.

I feel like they should make custom supports way easier. Or even choosing which side it’s on

No, No no, 1 MULTIPLAYER!!! co-op/ or just able to visit parks together. 2 VR!!!, full haptics. 3, more then one station per coaster if you want, and more styles and customizable.and 4, some kind of VR menu that lets you "travel" to other peoples parks with them and others for players that open their parks up to the public. basically turning their game into a server. With all the new hardware coming out it's time to start pushing it... Go AMD!

Some kind of train customization, like you an change the front piece into generic animals. Also a guest happiness system overhaul, the current system suck. A guest will complain about being thirsty l, then walk past several different drinks stands with no lines.

Custom trains

They need to update the camera view for the on ride view. The way the camera moves as it goes over a hill or through a turn is so cringe. Currently when the coaster goes over a speed hill for example, the camera does not follow the track properly. It almost kind of absorbs the shape of the speed hill as if the camera has some sort of shock absorbers on it. It's hard to explain but it drives me crazy the way the camera moves when riding the coaster for a POV. They also really need to work on the ability to smooth out the track. I have seen a ton of RU-vid POVs where the turns on a track are very chunky & not smooth like it would be in real life. I refuse to play Planet Coaster because these two things bother me so much.
