Guessing the guests only scream when fear is the highest parameter out of that, excitement, and nausea, so the parts that are less exiting still have fear. The guests do a weird shake thing when excited, and I think only whoop when the ride is fast or has airtime.
Wow. That was INTENSE... That big helix would have caused most people to pass out I think. Waaaaaay intense G-forces on this ride. And I'd hate to ask how many trees gave their lives to build it... holy crap! :-)
Bro, the little girl in the front looks like Darla from Finding Nemo, and the lady next to her looks like a damn serial killer who's mocking the other riders by screaming at inappropriate times on the roller coaster! The first time I watched this I was cracking up at their facial expressions! XD
Son Of Beast is one of the worst woodies I've ever ridden. I've ridden over 200 wood coasters since 1980 and SOB takes the cake for top 3 worst along with Mean Streak and Hercules.
I know it was probably not a great wooden coaster (especially compared to ANY gci) but it was a coaster that was made to be extreme, and over the top. Not necessarily a better ride experience. If you wanted a coaster with a better ride experience back in the time of son at beast, you could just go ride the racer or even the beast at Kings Island.
Michael K - Reflecting on Son Of Beast, there were actually three moments I enjoyed. The first turn after the lift and the first drop were good, and the loop was excellent. The loop, supported by steel, was smooth, large and felt wonderful. However, those three moments were the only parts of SOB that I liked.
Cool one. I usually play Rollercoaster Tycoon and I also like the wooden coasters. Yours is exciting, but not as mad as that people would get sick on it, it's nice and the pieces are quite stretchy not to many tight bends, nice long (overbanked) curves and the ride is quite long. I also like building something very long, that gives some ride time, not something where people pay a lot of admission and are done in 30 seconds, but a nice long quality ride and at beast where the coaster moves itself through on the momentum gathered at tthe first drop (usual tight spiral curves can make the coaster pick up speed aswell, not sure whether it is the same on this game), but well done!
I just wanna point this out, this ride used to exist in real life, this is the exact layout of the son of beast at kings island, he did not make this coaster up, he copied it, look up a pov, I’m not wrong, ok but he did edit it a bit more which is good but the overall layout is the same, but hey it looks good, nice job 👍
Max Herrell create a new building by placing a piece of wall then click on scenery and click on trees and basically as long as you’re still in the building trees can be copied by click and dragging on multiple trees and press ctrl+d to copy.
I would love to ride this! I always find some roller coasters are too short. The thing I find with some older wooden roller coasters is that they hurt. Super bumpy and shaky.
this is really good. however the coaster itself still needs a lot of work. the coaster is very jerky at low points in the ride that have a high rate of speed. i felt the second drop maybe should have been a tad bit lower to allow the train to have a little more speed flow to breeze over the top but other than that, the layout was really good. I enjoyed the bid helix you threw in there, it was in the middle of the ride and it reminds me of The Beast at Kings Island.
