Everyone, *this* is how you abuse the trigger-and-lighting system of this game :^) I hope I'm strapped in *very* tightly though because holy moly you hang upside down a lot.
4 years later and I still find myself coming back to this video. This is the greatest coaster creation I’ve seen, by far. These video games let you go beyond what could ever reasonably be built in real life and you took that possibility and ran with it.
You're creativity is beyond Human. You are in a league no one else can join! Wow is such an understatement, but it's all I can muster as I'm left speechless at this point! What a creation!
You have exceptional taste in music! I love how textural the track is....pairs seamlessly with your absolutely intense visuals. This and Alien City are the most impressive things I've seen with Planet Coaster so far. Freaking brilliant.
Okay seriously, if I ever need a level/set designer for anything you're fucking hired. The dedication, the perfection in every little detail, the sheer size, it's gorgeous.
The Rollercoaster Itself - 8/10 Scenery - 50/10 Jesus christ I swear this scenery is the best I have ever seen in my life. The reason I gave the coaster an 8 out of 10 is because it is kind of boring with the constant slow loops. It was very smooth, barring a few jerky hills and turns, but It was too slow. It wasn't very dynamic even though the track itself was made masterfully. Of course, your ride more than makes up for the lackluster track design with its amazing scenery. I can't even describe how awesome the city looked. Just... keep doing whatever it is you do. 'Cause you're good at it.
Zettareido The Stylish Givin the massive size, the loop speeds are what they need to be. could they be faster to have positive gs all the way around? yes. but hangtime is an exciting thing to have & you cant get that going fast through a loop.
David James Michel Yeah.. almost... Most loops don't have a hang time of 5-6 seconds. I can understand the inversion time being at most 1-2 seconds, but anything more than that would be rather boring IMO. I am not a professional. I just watch a lot of rollercoaster videos, and make a lot of rollercoasters my self.
Couple of questions... 1. How long do you sit on something like that? 2. Is this your full time job? 3. Has six flags already accepted you as theme park creator? 4. Teach us senpai? Also the music is sick. You should like aphex Twin
Woah, mate. Don't go and exaggerate like that like. 5 years? Seriously? The game came out a few weeks ago. Obviously he spent around 25 years making this!!!
I wouldn't say skills, per say, more like inspiration. I spent about 20-30 hours doing this one thing in my park and it's basically because I had to try and retry until I was satisfied. If you have a blueprint or know exactly what you want, you can build most things in just a day. It's not exactly a game about skills, more about inspiration. Then again, to have great inspiration can be considered a skill in and of itself. Ok, we're getting no where. Hahahaha! You get what I mean!
After downloading you're park I must say I was shocked what you used to build the park. Many what I thought massively detailed buildings made out of computers and such. MASTERFUL use of lighting.
this video randomly came up after another channel's planet coaster build series, and i'm literally in awe. The amount of detail in this is mind blowing. Seriously, what an amazing job. So happy this came up. #instasubscribed
This video is what would have happened if someone listened to that music and thought: *"What kind of rollercoaster would possibly go with this music!?"*
What the actual fuck. I'm positively impressed. You should see my face. My open mouth as the coaster started to have this 180 degrees turning lift, man. That thing made my day!
This guy should be making real life coasters and rides. Not to mention designing architecture for future theme parks of mass scale. Wow, the creative aspects and build quality is very professional! Details is great.
The coaster is insane ... but take a look around the lights & effects omg ... I know I won't be the first to say that but it leaves me speechless. Some real work here. The one who did this has nothing to learn from the game anymore
That is absolutely amazing. By far the best coaster I have seen on any roller coaster game. I had no idea you could build all of that in game. Time to figure it out.
absolutely amazing! the lights on the rails, and everything!! how did you get the chain lift to turn and go vertical? did you hack the games codes or something?
I'm building my own sci-fi city in planet coaster and you have been a huge inspiration to me! Between this park and your alien city park... So good! I did download this from steam but noticed the paths were not connected to the coaster. Tried to connect them myself but it's a bit chaotic to try and see where you are putting path with all the buildings. Would love to see this in the workshop with a path connection added so I could see people ride the coaster! :)
This is absolutely NUTS! I thought I was watching some insane CGI sequence, not Planet Coaster! I had no idea one could even make anything like THAT! Holy shit, well done!
...Not entirely sure how safe this coaster is, or if it's even POSSIBLE. Would be amazing as some VR thing I guess, though it would surely frighten the life out of anyone.
I actually dig how the initial drop seems slow since it's in a wide-open space, which then becomes more confined, since it's that point where the sense of speed hits you hard.
how on earth do you record that smooth? i got a 4790k clocked to 4,8ghz and a 980ti and can´t even get 60fps in a small park this seems to be running glossy smooth
It's a technique of forcing the game to play in slow motion, recording at that speed, and then speed up the footage in post back to real time to essentially fake a high frame rate. A drawback is it not having sound which is why a lot of these smooth cinematic vids have music instead, but you can overcome that by recording a regular speed POV with a shit frame rate but using just the audio from it to layer and sync with your smooth footage. =]
