I did my first "drive into to setup" con with Anime Central last year, and I thought that was so wild! So true about the profits tending to be the same across large and "smaller" cons, especially with costs being factored in, but so worth it in terms of experience and the enjoyment of it. And as long as there is profit, it's worth it! I look forward to seeing your other con experiences!
