More updates came through during the week that introduced more items. The Devs are really ramping up for the final release. I this one we look at the new Hologram Generator, we find the Solar Quartz and we plant the new tree. We also get a better understanding of the new procedural wrecks and what we can find in them.
Planet Crafter is an early access, first person, space, survival, crafting game. You have been sentenced to terraform a planet for the crimes that you have committed.

I paused the video, went out side, forgot I was watching the video. When I came back in and saw the screen, felt a wave of panic because I knew I hadn't drank or eaten anything in a while. I play hardcore, so dead is dead. 6 or 7 minutes unattended and you'll have to start again.

Oh no! I tried to record a series on hardcore, but talking through the game and remembering to breathe are two things I can't seem to do at the same time.

@@surtrplays Yeah, I sent a suggestion to the dev recommending a louder heartbeat warning for maybe 10 seconds longer and/or fainting for 10 seconds (to really get your attention) so that player has time to open his pack and get the food/water/O2 he needs. It's a bit silly that we can overlook needs because the game doesn't give us enough feedback. Realistically, it's impossible to overlook needs until you don't even have enough time to open your pack to grab a candy bar.

They are a lovely idea, but personally I don't bother with flares or markers, I just rub my hand on the left wall and never let it go. That way I can guarrantee I cover the entire wreck and still make it back to the entrance. In fact, getting to the entrance that way is confirmation that I have visited every part of the wreck. Another lovely video. I open your stuff now and just punch like straight away - I know I am going to enjoy it before I see it.

i would love if they made it that you can get new plants, fish, frogs and butterflies in these new biomes from the wrecks

FYI, Both Flares and Solar Quartz can be crafted in the autocrafter

where do I find all the different colored quartz

The pink and yellow can be crafted. All of the others are in the procedural wrecks in the portal areas.

All the various color quartzes can now be found in the "rainbow cave", which is far to the northwest part of the main map. By FAR, I mean like 2000, x, 2000. It (they...there are several) can't be entered until the transform index is something above 2(?) GTi -- I forget.

I think you need to build an optimizer new the trade platforms and put the fuse into it.

I've been playing Planet Crafter for a while now and i was wondering where can I find the Green Quarts, Yellow Quartz and Purpal Quartz? Now, I can make and easily find the Pink Quartz No problem. Can you tell my where to find those different crystals or do I just wait to make them in the Lab?🤓❤👍👍👁

You will find them in the portal wrecks and also the new cave system in the north. Only the pulsars and solars can be made.

Your hunting and leaving a ton of goo.d loot behind no wondoer you get nowhere, you passed a place that needed explosives and inside there would have been a reactor.that requires two power units, the other doors would have opened, no more spoiler...that up 2 you.

Some locations have multiple wrecks and now there are crates randomly found in the the general area of each location, also have you found Keycard1's yet? Some wrecks need them to unlock major vault rooms!

So, everytime you open a portal and close it, you lose your crystals? Not fun at all. Also, I found a chip and it gave me flares blueprint, but not able to craft it yet. Maybe later. Kinda little bug that happened too when cookies etc. were introduced, one crafter could not, but after checking more crafters, eventually they all could craft it. Might be the same with flares.

You do pick up quite a lot of crystal so it isn't a big problem. There will be some issues but I think they will all get ironed out.

@@surtrplays Well, I hated the beginning of the game, the lack of space and to take everything with you. Also I find it a shame that I cannot build a container outside the wreckages to let drones pick stuff up, as for the storyline tells, we are at wreck-sites on the same planet(because we were not allowed to leave, remember?), but why can't we walk there? It is a bit against the grain of the story.

Another fun video to watch as those of us who aren't going through the dev side of things await these updates. I wonder if the new quartz (green and purple) will be craftable like the solar quartz is with an unlock? Also, I wonder if you can keep these portals open by making more than one portal generator and using that? Love the look of the new trees as well. I think combining those with the ones you can purchase through the trade rockets can really add a beautiful fall-like vibe to the biome you're adding flora to. Thank you for these videos! I am really looking forward to the new update to help add another dimension to this game.

I like how this game keeps giving. At first release it was very re-playable, and here we are years later and it's still a lot of fun. The graphics are starting to look a bit dated, but a proper shader can fix most of those issues

When I went into a portal, the first thing I saw was a chest, I thought, nice. Oh, and after a while playing, still no flare to construct here.

I still haven't found it but since the upgrade I have to re-unlock all the blueprint chips again. I stopped collecting them a long time ago and now I have to go out and find more.

Hello surtr and And thank you for informing me I think you should test the teleporter once when you travel through the portal And my suggestion is to try to long jump with F4 when you are in the portal biomes and try to get out of range. I am sure that many friends are curious about these things😂😂 Thanks again for the information❤

Interesting! In my first run I tried building a teleporter in the portal realm, and it wouldn't allow. I will check out the F4, and it will put it in the next video if anything interesting happens.

@@surtrplaysSo try to place a room first and then a teleporter inside the room Even if this doesn't work, I will probably try using the underground bonker glitch Probably this limit is only on the surface and no limit has been set for bonker😄
