Live-In Handyman, Blu, erects a fantabulous outdoor backyard patio PERGOLA! Yes... 1 person build... 5 days afterwork, learned some new things too! Take a load off, relax, and watch this "from scratch" no plans build! Shalom mi gente!
Hi Blu, Love the pergola. Very nice use of space. It will be a cool gathering place to relax. In the beginning of the video what caught my eye was the color of the paint on the garage. I just cleaned our garage of mold/mildew and that is the exact color I was picturing in my mind. Could you please tell me the color brand and if it's flat, satin or low sheen. I would be very appreciative.👍
Frank sir, i used a semi-transparent stain from Valspar called "Reindeer". I used it on Redwood, so may be a tad different if you use on Pine. Either or... has a brownish-redish tint to it :)
@@BluPlanetDojo Hi Blu, Thank you for getting back to me. I was asking what color paint you used on your Garage that you are standing in front of in the very beginning of the video.
Thx @aries5433 So the lumber was about $800 and the hardware (nuts, bolts, screws) was about $65. I used Redwood, so you could save some $$ if you go with pinewood, make sure to treat or paint for sure :)
So im in the process of doing a pergola and Im so scared to drill into the concrete LOL. I have a fear that my concrete is going to crack and break uuuhhhhh. Im watching you drill and it makes me feel better, but with my luck I dont know how this is going to go.
Hey Friend, All good! Main thing isHAMMER DRILL... if you don't have, RENT... save yourself a drill bit or 2... Grab the right BOLT and you are SOLID! love to see the results...YOU CAN DO IT!
