Season 2 started on Nov. 6, an official book accompanying season 3 is set to be released on Jan. 16, according to its Amazon page. My money would be on a November release for season 3. I feel like marketing wouldn't start more than two months in advance.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone from being fine to sobbing so much in 1 minute. Planet Earth is so beautiful. It is more than a blessing to get to be alive in a time where we can see this footage, and grow up with David Attenborough! So much love for everyone and every creature involved in this remarkable series 💛

Over decades nature series produced by BBC, from 2024 on BBC Earth, have been a true vital inspiration for so many, and immense teams of incredibly professional film makers never stop to impress and overwhelm us with showing us how amazing, wonderful, complex and fragile our planet's natural world is. And as writer and narrator for yet another series we once again find the ever vital and passionate David Attenborough, now 98. More important than ever before, and always in the best possible manner, this legend makes us understand how it all is linked together, but ultimately he also gives a fair warning of what we are about to lose.

I really hope this is going to come out on DVD. I have just about all of Sir David's series (that are on DVD, naturally) and this would be a welcome addition. I would preorder without seeing a single minute of one of the episodes! Please BBC, help keep this licence payer very happy!

Your right and I think All of us would like this series to be out on dvd because I would like to have this for Christmas and its not that hard to release this series on dvd they did with frozen planet 2 when that was released on dvd and other David Attenborough series that we seen in autumn and the most important question is why didn’t they show the release date we have been waiting 5 years for this series to be released what they trying to do release the series in 2024 and I have been trying to find the bbc one for planet earth 3 on the internet but nothing was found

@@richardweston3600 I hate to say this but I disagree with you because I love getting new dvds and also it won’t be fair if they don’t release this on dvd because they already released the other planet earth series and it wouldn’t be fair if they don’t release this on dvd because the reason why they are still releasing dvds including this one because of money and did you see those poor animals in the trailers and they need money for helping those poor animals find new homes and also not everyone can get Netflix and Amazon prime and yes they can release it on blue ray to

Nah, this is probably the weakest trailer for a big BBC nature series I've yet to see. :( Short, with a dumb pop song, and the scenes picked are average at best (wolves look good, rhino in the city was okaish, and the rest was just meh). Planet Earth 2 had a terrific trailer with epic and unique Hans Zimmer's music and real drama, and nearly 3 minutes instead of just 1 minute. This one is just weak.

I left a message after watching only the first three episodes, and I've come to be corrected. Though the first three episodes seem to be repetitive of other features play David attenborough, the program redeemed itself in the subsequent episodes. There was indeed a lot of new material after the first three episodes

That’s a Saiga, a type of antelope. Their noses were selected for through mating, and they allow them to make louder vocalizations. The noses also help them filter out dust and particulates in the Eurasian Steppe.
