I probably should have said earlier nice review/ vs battle. I like that you guys actually give an opinion on which gun you prefer rather than just tell me the specs on each gun like many channels do.
I got 1v1.6, and tm40, i love my tm40, im a big guy abd have no problem shooting it. My lv1.6 is the smoothest poppet ive ever shot. I pulled the trigger on an lv2 but have nit shot it yet. Its great to be old enough tk buy pb guns i could never afford as a kid.. .cheers
Please let me know what you think of the 1.6 vs lv2, i have a 1.6 and luxe ice, deciding if i should get an lv2 or tm40 (available at the same price used for me)
The battery on my Luxe can loose contact with a good jar. I just make sure the battery is fully depressed and that the retainer is in place as good as it can be. Then make sure the bump on the inner grip lines up well when I close it, but I’ve seen people add paper or a dab if shoe goo on that bump to make the battery more snug
My wallet hates you guys! Your making me want an LV2. I love my TM40 and with upgrades like an infamous trigger and an Adrenaline bolt it’s beyond amazing. I didn’t think the bolt makes much of a difference but changing them out changes the fps by 25 -30 and efficiency is very near a full case on a fill. I was not a fan ( for a high end)of my last PE gun the Geo4 felt it was over hyped
It's really a hard choice here because both are great markers in my experience owning both. You have to make a choice that works for your personal preferences. TM40 is for the guy that wants that luxe feels but needs efficiency and runs a smaller tank, and wants a marker that talks to them, good features out of the box what more could you ask for? 18 pods is a lot and fewer trips to the refill. With all-day air, it really doesn't matter. Unless you're playing big games and walking 1000 acre area. LV2 is just different, but not in a mechanical way from the previous LV markers. Yes, the overall design is new but not new new. One could argue the LV2 mechanically is the same marker as the other LV platforms, this is true, but it doesn't feel like it holding and shooting. The previous LV markers would have that sudden bump feel from the rammer hitting the ram cap bumper. Also even with heavy rammer in saying the lv1.6, it is still not as smooth as the lv2. The LV2, since one of the chambers, is larger and has little added weight to the LV2, moving the LPR into the vertical grip has created an overall motion back into the shoulder and distributed movement elsewhere, creating a smoother LV. When you shoulder the lv2 it looks different because of its stacked tube design instead of the bolt engine one stack design. When I say the LV2 shoots smooth... it's really smooth. Not Vanquish or Dye DSR+ Smooth. If I had to compare it to another marker smoothness it would be Old Bob Long Alias with added ram bumper. Some have said really broken in G6R. LV2 has this new thunk or thud to the feel of the shot. It's weird! Make a suggestion video: LV2 Vs LV1.6 Shooting Comparison.
CS2 Pro is now discontinued by PE if you want brand new. You did say new so that leaves the TM40 and lv2. I have a LV2 on preorder for a while now lol. My TM40 with the F16 bolt is lights out! I do think the talking board is a damned gimmick so I turned that off. But all in all the TM40 is extremely reliable, very efficient, sexy, and easy as pie to take apart, clean and maintain. I don't have my LV2 yet but if it is anything like my LV 1.6 it will rip! I have my 1.6 set up for speed. SFR, dwell, and light rammer are all tuned for maximum shot responsiveness and speed and it still shoots brittle paint all day every day as soft as a womans tush! Out of the two I would WAIT FOR THE LV2. The TM40 is amazing but i think the next gen LUXE will finally be the perfect one.
@@jamesleason4004 that would be my Luck I got out and buy the TM40 and the new luxe would get released. I might just go out to my local field see if anyone has the LV2 yet and see if I can shoot it a bit. But your breakdown of the guns were really helpful.
@@scottphillips5496 yeah I do love my tm40. It's a really really good marker for landing and holding down key bunkers in a match. But that lv2 is so tuneable and could be just as efficient if not more so with the light rammer and dual SFR's set for that crisp responsive shot.
@@jamesleason4004 thanks a lot man. I guess I’ll wait a little bit and see if I can get my hands on one at a field and rip some paint through it. Is there a chance a new luxe could come out this year? Like are there teaser websites that put stuff out there.
@@scottphillips5496 Luxe tm40 released last year so we're looking at around 3-4 years before they make the next one. You might see a HK ARMY tm40 which would be very sweet so something to think about.
