Thank you Konstantin for providing such an engaging, fascinating, and humorous presentation regarding planet 9. I have really enjoyed hearing your interviews about planet 9 via audio, but had not watched a presentation previously and now have an exponentially better grasp on your theories because of the visualizations provided here. Keep at it and I look forward to hearing your name over the coming years and decades and am confident your work will land you in the annals of planetary science history.

This shit sets my mind on fire! If only I were young. I remember sneaking into the university in town to look up peer-reviewed papers, as a junior high schooler, using a card catalogue. If only women of my generation weren't only taught how to keep a cheque book and cook beef stew. What I wouldn't give to be in Dr. Batygin's class. You guys are so blessed beyond belief! I didn't have a choice, but you do. Don't let me down!

Kat I M I totally agree with you to never stop learning. I study college lectures and Konstantin Batygin is a favorite educator of mine. Have you tried Coursera? You can download Coursera from Google Play. Mike Brown has a lecture series on our solar system it is so useful. I would love to sit in their classes but my home is in Florida.

I watched this lecture after watching Mike Brown's lecture, Konstantin's project partner. which includes descriptions of a constant language difference struggle. Their partnership and friendship must be joyful. Their project a beautiful example of analyzing the last decade's astronomical data, making predictions, and with existing instrumentation, they are looking for confirmation. I sympathize with the individual having the office which separates these two at Cal Tech.

Planet 9 or Planet X or nibiru is out there and it comes around to the near earth elliptical orbit every 3.600 years and is Due to come back in 2036 or 2046 something like that it’s coming from behind the sun but should be able to know for sure that it’s there soon.

Ok, I barely understand anything math and science. Science wasn’t difficult, but in a private homeschool program, I never had science classes; just some text books on basic science, no experimenting or anything hands on. Math though, math was always a challenge...but not challenging. I know, that may not make a lot of sense. Math was a constant struggle because I didn’t have teachers for each subject. Anytime I needed help, I would be told to figure it out. I’m not ignorant about math; I know the basic functions of math, I just never was able to grasp it. I don’t think I’m dyslexic, but the textbooks I had to use would have a page of simple instructions and examples, which got me started out ok, but as soon as that little sample page was done, the following pages exploded into massively complex problems that the previous examples didn’t explain. I simply could not grasp any of it. But looking back on my life, I’ve discovered that I have always been a hands on person. As a kid I would tinker and take things apart and reassemble them. Most jobs were all hands on training. Never attended college or trade schools, but I’ve worked in hospitals, dialysis clinics, surgery centers, diesel mechanic, and ultimately LE where I was medically retired in 2013. Now, I’ve had extensive training for LE, but honestly, I just took a test, was 6th out of 250 applicants, got hired, and then after 8 months working off in house training, I was sent out for classroom and tactical training. I taught myself to play the drums, kind of learned the piano, bass/acoustic guitar, singing, mix sound, and pretty much anything music. Learned how to wrench on cars out of necessity more than desire due to not being able to afford a repair bill. Learned how to fix things around my house for similar reasons. I know I’m not the only one who’s done the exact same thing...but my point to all of this is, had I been taught by people such as Konstantin, I most likely would have been able to grasp math.

1) Does magnetism (gravitational pull) vary with the temperature of the heavier elements? (Also something to do with density). 2) Now I know how sometimes, when I get a bolt cross-threaded, as it heads into the engine block, it has everything to do with Planet 9. I appreciate having made this determination on the basis of planet 9. What are the odds that any other star/planet system are just like ours. It is pretty cool that Planet 9 can be determined to be the reason that our sun has a 6 degree inclination, or whatever those degrees off of Zero. Some one told me that every thing is in the Orion Constellation. AF

I can accept how the position of a new planet can be found from the perturbations of the orbit of the previous planet - but what were the techniques, so long ago, for _measuring_ the perturbations of the previous planet. It's not as if it did an orbit in the meantime - it only moved a little bit, and in that small distance, they already had determined where it was vs where it should have been. How?

Nibiru is a planet of a brown dwarf star. That star is the companion of our sun. It last came close in about 500 B.C. It will return in 3100 A.D. The Vatican has invested a lot of money in an infrared telescope in Arizona. Why? They want to be the first to observe this brown dwarf.
@MrArthurGiles
@MrArthurGiles 4 года назад
Charles Long, Biblical dates are hard to fix properly, I think your date of 500BCE should have been much further back - a good number of people are expecting Nibiru to be visible to the naked eye 4 o´clock to the Sun (N hemisphere) in mid 2021. The Pole Shift date is still unknown but isn´t too far away so make your peace with God. This comment will be ridiculed by the same type of person that ridiculed that the Earth is round, nothing lighter than air will ever fly and that the UFOs seen by thousands do not exist.

One thing I noticed in your simulations, that you kept the orbit of Planet nine constant. it's orbit must be deviated during 4.5 billion years? If Planet nine deviated or affected the orbits of other bodies then other bodies must have had affected the orbit of planet nine because of large solar bodies or planets like Neptune?

Chetan Patil great comment. If you think of where Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus are in our solar system. In theory they are in the wrong place. At the beginning of our solar system the Hydrogen and Helium cloud which made up our Sun and gas planets started in the centre of our system. Why are these gas giants now the outer planets? Pretty much all the solar systems which have been found have these gas giants very close to their sun. Something put our gas giants into the outer orbits. Planet X?

Constantine I have one question if we can see galaxies and stars that are millions of light years away and to the other ends of our known solar system why can't we see this so-called planet nine that's in our solar system but yet remains to be unseen or unfound? I know you have put the effort in the science and the mathematics to the test and seem very convinced that this is real but why can't we find it? I'm not a physicist I'm just a paramedic with uncanny interest in what's going on out there if you could answer me this question I would be eternally grateful thank you

Why not call planet 9 Pluto? It will go very well with the explanation of Pluto in Astronomy as well: A mysterious planet that is hard to fathom (like Scorpion it represents). These Characteristics were falsely given to the old Puloto. Now we know that small dwarf planet did not deserve it. So we can call old Pluto: Dwarf Pluto (or maybe Pluto wants to be:), or something else).

From the perspective of an interested bystander, (factory laborer) it seems to me that the Orbits of these distant bodies are responding to the entire solar system as a point source of gravity as one of the foci of their orbital elipses. Could there be another field of gravity drawing the many elipses of their orbits to that region of space where their other foci seem to gather?

That gravestone fell over! "Nobody will ever notice that. Filmmaking is not about the tiny details. It's about the big picture."

In the work of zecharia sitchin, he tells us that our solar system is actually binary, and the other body is a brown dwarf, orbiting this brown dwarf there's a planet called Nibiru. I think that to cause such a disturbance the mass of the body would be greater than the predictions presented. I've read this books many years ago and not imagined that this, maybe, would be real in some sense. So, maybe, the fiction is not so fiction after all.

They’ve ruled it out being a brown dwarf already

Could it be a miniature primeval black hole causing the gravity pull instead of a planet?..

Our space force has been out there since the early fifties and have visited many planet since then. This looking for planets with a telescope is like horse and buggy days stuff. Looking for planets with a telescope is now obsolete. For a hobby though I guess it is OK. Find something else to do with your time but then again it is your time. We also already have colonies on other planets. I thank you for taking what is a dull subject for me and made your talk interesting.

If planet nine have aligned the eTNO over billions of years, and then say another star "captured" P9 from the solar system, how long would it take for the eTNO alignment to destabilize? (That could be a reason we've not seen it, if it was lost 10 million years ago for instance.)

Great Presentation, once again!..... Is there any work being done to actually map Our Local Group Birkeland Electric Field Pathways?

"y map Our Local Group Birkeland Electric Field Pathways?" Its been done already. They are entirely imaginary.

I have a question! Assuming planet nine does exist, is it more likely that it's a rogue planet, captured by our sun, or a native planet, that formed with the rest of the solar system?

At roughly 10x Earth mass, would it be solid or a small version of a gas giant with a solid core? Trying to imagine what we would find. Is it possible for it to have atmosphere? At 20,000 years period, its far out and would be very cold.
