Planet Zoo | NOOB vs PRO vs ARCHITECT | Siberian Tiger Habitat 

That noob habitat still looks way better than my noob habitats. I just made square boxes and used prefab shelters.

The architect made several levels but didn't do anything special about them other than covering the sides with rocks. They didn't have enough variation in stone placement which made a repeated pattern which looks unatural. The trees are scattered evenly over the whole thing without any balance or overview, burying the shape of the habitat. They cut the hill to the boarder and made no natural transitions to the rest. There was no uniqueness or soul in this built and I would at least have expected some kind of custom building or signs. It's also adding too much walking for the guests which isn't practical. I would understand if the architect made an interesting scenery for the guests to view, but they really didn't. It's good that they pushed some of the plants into the ground, but none of them were rotated to make it seem less like copy pasting or a Photoshop brush. They used Asian themed benches and keepers hut, but the build itself didn't match with it too much. Asian style is intricate, and the habitat itself seemed more modern and man made. That's my opinion! I personally liked the pro one better. The pro didn't have a grand plan to it, but it was good as a simple habitat. I think that the architect might have made the ground work too big to be able to finish it within a few hours, but time management is also a part of the design process. It was a great video after all and I hope anyone reading this take it as criticism and find it useful 😁

Mine would be closer to the Pro one but more spacious and I'd line up the backwalls with unclimbable conifer trees and bushes...

I may be being a bit boring, but I found the "architect" kind of exaggerated for just one animal😅. I would build the pro's habitat, taking some inspirations from the architect who was very beautiful. (Translator-generated text)

It's a good idea to switch up your rock shapes and color so if you're using taiga, a good one to mix in once in a while is temperate, or vice versa to give, especially those giant rocky walls, some extra texture. It's also a good idea not to make the habitats huge, just a bit more than they require. Also, rotate your trees, bushes, flowers and sink some a bit into the ground to make them just slightly more different. It makes a lot of difference. This is also no way specific to you Shenyuo, just giving extra pointers in case someone comes across this comment.

I don’t mean to sound gatekeepy but putting down a pre-fab bathroom and calling your build architectural is pushing it. I hope to see this channel improve to fit the labels it’s awarded itself

i'd like to think i'm between the Noob and the Pro, leaning more toward pro. but most of the time my ADHD and OCD get in the way and i abandon projects halfway through. Sick builds tho! Thanks for the inspiration!

When you realise most of your habitats look noob-level and your best habitats only just look like the pro

Ok, so what this video tells me is that an architect is not able to use the space he is given (noob and "pro" are pretty much using the same space) and thus is not getting hired for the job, because he uses the whole zoo space for 1 tiger habitat xD. Director be like "Nope, call the first guy."

its kinda funny how i am using all 3 versions :D i only play franchise,so at the beginning with no money,there are only the noob versions,when i am sure where to build something (and i am sure it stays there) it gets to lvl 2 or 3 xD noob version is also great if your carnivores suddenly get 1290381203 babies and you are like "shit i need more income" and you randomly build herbivore habitats to make ends meet lol usually i remove the "shit looking" habitats and build new ones,when i got enough money again. but thats the great thing in planet zoo. if you are in a hurry,you can just build a basic one,and then ... sometimes you are sitting there 3 days just to build a gigantic mountain,with paths,waterfalls,and habitats around/in it... its just great! also,i made a giant skull out of stones,which took me around 18 hours,i wanted to use it for one of my monkey zoo,but in the end,i only uploaded it to the workshop,and started a new zoo with a completely different theme LOL

It’s a good video and all, but I think everyone else has their own build style and the different stages of builds will look completely different

How did it take you so little time, legit woulda taken me 6 hours just for the pro one

My habitats don't look too bad. What I run into is that my buildings look generic. My reptile house in the current zoo I'm building is of classic style, and is basically a grey limestone building with a glass roof, and minimal vegetation. There's one habitat and some exhibits. Very basic. I can find some inspiration amongst other people's creations, but I hate to steal other people's ideas and would rather come up with my own. Practice makes perfect.

you didn't rotate one tree, I thought you where keeping that for the "architect" modus but all of you'r bushes and trees stand the same. No special build vieuwing areas...not that many variation in your habbitat with viewing points or cave vieuwing's with glass barrier?

While it looks good, the third one is just too unrealistic imo. I try to think like a zoo director when I play and never I would accept a space like the third one. Way too unatural and expensive to build. If I'm short on money then the first one is already very good, the second being the best of the two worlds.

My question, where are the habitat gates??? When I do some amazing ground work like a pro or the architect it always messes with my gate entrance and tells me that there keeper can't reach xyz... Help!

I just sincerely wish they would make it to where when you raise paths up, the terrain would follow it. I hate 'raising' the terrain to the raised paths, but there's still that massive gap on the sides/underneath that just looks-...wrong. You wouldn't have that in a real zoo, people be falling into those giant crevices like crazy! And the only fix is to stuff rocks in there, but what if I want grass/sand/snow all along my walk ways???

The architect uses too much space, not enough variation, and too long paths for guests. The cost is way too high for the benefit to the park, and would not work at all in a real game with limited money. So, the pro is the best one, though I don't understand where the habitat gate is, or how the staff could get to it.

Pro is the nicest habitat. It is realistic and balanced. The architect build is overkill and out of scale. What does that say?

I spend multiple hours on ‘pro/architect’ habitats 😂😂It can be dreadful. This architect habitat is too complicated for me tho. Wouldn’t even be able to come up with it 😂

The architect build is actually insane - even though my skills are probably hovering between noob and pro, there's a couple of ideas in there that I'm absolutely going to take inspiration from.

Just a question, i just started playing and i don’t know how you make a habitat in the ground like that. Where is the gate and where are the walls? Also where are the fences? Ik you put some on the path but i mean the ones that actually make it a habitat.

What path settings do you need for the last habitat? I hate how I can’t level terraformed earth near paths, there is always weird gaps or a rough edge!

ok so i wouldn't say i'm noob for paths or for placing the habitat fencing but i'm deffo a noob for rocks (i don't use any i can't get them to look good at all) and i'm a noob for plants i can't make them look good either

I always make mine too big. I have a wolf habitat and its so huge. My first blueprint was a gigantic incomplete flamingo habitat with a big waterfall

The first habitat I made was for a snow leopard. I didn’t ever put it in the habitat. I just put random stuff I thought they would like, and it was entirely made of glass so they would always be seen by people.

Tip for the heaters/air conditioners : use advanced placing to stuff them a bit under the ground instead of hiding them with trees

i don't know about this game and I haven't played it yet but... I more like the pro one since animals can't escape because it is built in a lower area than the pro one because animals could just jump over from the highest place to the bottom part. But please don't judge me I dont know how the game works I just clicked the thumbnail coz it looks cool Btw where can I download it? Is it available on windows? Or it is available on Android/mobile phones? How much space does it take?
