I would live on Phobos. Large area for experimenting, and when the others make a party on Mars, i can "jump in".

Mars ,its a second home for man plus its gives us a chance to really show our potential as a species.

Looks like a bit of fun and reminds me of playing the old MS Age of Empires game, which I use to have a blast playing when it first came out in the 90s. Good times.

Nice game, haven't heard about this one yet. Please keep this game going. Out of all the planets in the solar system I would like to live on Europa the most. It has water underneath the ice. I do not know whether living there on the surface is as feasible, but if so I guess seeing Jupiter must be an awesome sight.

Mars; it's red surface represents the human blood spilled throughout our bloody history. Mars could provide us humans with a new beginning, a chance to bring greatness to the human race! But the red would always be there, a sinister reminder that our crazed lust for power could just be the end of us...

Amazing. He moved the starting zone by accident when he named his base and he got a nice big spacey valley to start in. (Y)

I know the competition is over but I would love to live on Saturn's largest moon, Titan. I have thought about this (a bit more than I should have I think..) and have a few reasons. 1) It orbits the most beautiful planet in our solar system, Saturn's rings are beyond magnificent and look like jewels in the sky, you could see them all day everyday! 2) The name 'Titan' for a planet/moon is just amazing. 3) Saturn is my favourite planet in the solar, sadly it's a gas planet so I couldn't live on it because it has no surfice. 4) I'll be away from the human race. Don't worry Wulff, I'll hook up some internet and still watch all your videos! ;) 5) There could actually be life under Titans icy surface, if there is and I confirm it, I will have my own little microbes that will grow into a new race and will worship me like a God! Overall, Saturn is the place in our Solar system by far! It might be a little bit cold outside but I would deal with that if I could look at Saturn for the rest of my life!

Mars, because of the recent discovery of water ice there, the reality of colonizing it could be within the lifetime of my grandchildren or great grandchild. And I would love to finally find out more about the face on Mars

I'd like to live on Titan. A constant view of Saturn every night (since Titan is tidal locked) would be amazing, providing we could somehow solve Titans natural smog issues long enough to see anything.

Pluto - long time between supply runs, but on the plus side wouldn't have to deal with any annoying planetary neighbors swinging by unannounced to borrow a cargo hold full of methane . . .

I'd give a try in Vénus, because that would be a hell of a technical challenge to manage temperature, pressure and acid rain.

I personally would live on Saturn. only because every night I could see different moons, and the ring around it would make awesome meteor storms.

I would love to try Jupiter! :D Low orbit, a city in the whirling sky of this gorgeous gas giant. The whole city would be facing towards the planet itself, as thrusters would generate a constant acceleration, that would give the perfect illusion of gravity, throughout the whole structure. And where to have all the energy for this? Well a bit higher, there's a fantastic (and deadly) radiation belt, generated by the Sun and Jupiter's hydrogen core. No fancy methods required to gather this energy, just a nice metal sail that is connected to the station, and been supported by centripetal force. The engines 'though... nowdays EM-Drives are not really fit for this job. :D So if it doesn't count, then I say Ganymede. It's not as massive as Earth, so gravity won't be so comfortable on the long-run however this tiny rock does have it's own magnethosphere, and I'm more concerned about getting fried by radiation (and since I'm no dwarf, I still want to enjoy the stars and sky). It had a lot of water, so fuel won't be a problem, also there's a thin oxygen athmosphere. It is the furthest moon on orbit of Jupiter, so leaving the planetary body would be ... "cheap". :D And come on, the view is astonishing! :D

I would want to live on the moon, so when I got home sick i could at least look at Earth. It would also make it easier to get to and maintain it, as well as communicate do to it's distance from Earth.

Uranus for sure. Why? Where do I even start... It's very pretty for one thing. Also it doesn't rotate along a roughly vertical axis like all the other boring, conformist planets in our system, it *_rolls_* along it's path. Imagine looking at the sky and instead of your classic, dull day-night cycle you just see the sun doing donuts up there. Last but not least: It literally rains diamonds on Uranus. As you've noticed in your attempts to colonize your planet, happiness is an important factor. Is there any better way to keep your significant other happy than freaking *_diamond rain_*? Solid ground, sunlight and a breathable atmosphere are obviously overrated compared to that. ;) PS: Liking this so far, would like to watch more.

Great first episode. I have followed you over from your ED content :) My choice for a world for coloniseation would be Europa. My reason:- "All these worlds are yours - Except Europa - Atempt no landing there." Might end up with some interesting neighbours :P
@WR3ND

Think I'll go with Titan, one of Saturn's moons, since it has an active weather system with rain and the like, just not water based. It might even be a candidate for hosting life significantly different than what we know of here on Earth. It would be great fun to explore and study, assuming we had the technology to be able to survive there long enough, of course.

I'd love to live on Europa, lotsa water, great view of Jupiter and the ability to launch stuff via a massdriver made from minerals in the ice and the seafloor. Air is also no problem, since you can get it from elecrtolysing the water. And no atmosphere means, that you don't have to worry about parachutes in an environment humans cannot breathe in anyways.

I would choose Pluto, the poor old former planet. I like the fact that it is so far out and after NASA's recent discovery's make it seem very interesting. Also the view of Charon would be amazing from there I would hope.

I would live on Pluto because I feel bad for it being kicked out of the planet category. On a serious note though, probably Mars. We know more about it than other planets in terms of resources and it seems to have the greatest potential.
@gruntman438

I'd love to live on Mars, first of all because of the fact that right now its probably the most Earth-like planet in the solar system, that and the fact that the gravity is 1/3 Earth's so that would be a nice change of pace. Plus, there is a fairly decent amount of water on mars in the soil so that would be a fantastic resource.

Mars. If we could find a way to terraform it. We would be close to earth so communication and transport wouldnt be so terrible. Also it wouldnt be too cold or neither too warm compared to some of the other planets, although we could try to regulate it with the density of the atmosphere.
@Moctipotili1
@Moctipotili1 9 лет назад
I would love a copy of thIs game, and in answer to your question: where in the solar system I would like to live, that would be Ganymede, one of Jupiter's closer moons. It would have a great view of Jupiter and it's many moons, and terraforming would be easier than most other planetary bodies in the Sol system.
@bhalucard85

mars. because the core of ice could give a chance to make air and water allowing for potential terraforming.
