Kulturgerät für die Planktonzucht
Der plankton light reactor II mit ca. 5 l Füllvolumen ist ein einfaches System zur Erzeugung von Plankton in einer natürlichen Nahrungskette. Im plankton light reactor II werden mit Licht, Dünger und dem Kohlendioxidgehalt der Luft Mikroalgen gezüchtet. Diese können direkt an viele filtrierende Tiere verfüttert oder zur Zucht von Zooplankton verwendet werden. Die integrierte 10 W LED Beleuchtung sorgt für ausreichend Licht und somit für eine gute Vermehrungsrate. Bei ausreichendem Nährstoffgehalt kann sich die Masse der Algen in 24 Std. vervierfachen. Der plankton light reactor II ist mit zwei Anschlüssen für die gleichzeitige Zufuhr von Luft und CO2 ausgestattet. Der CO2 Gehalt kann bei hohem Planktonbedarf pH-gesteuert erhöht werden. Der Deckel besitzt eine Aufnahme für eine pH-Sonde. Bei normalem Bedarf ist eine zusätzliche CO2-Zugabe allerdings nicht erforderlich.
Zur einfachen Teilentnahme von Plankton befindet sich ein Schlauch mit Dosierklemme und Halterung am Gehäusedeckel.
Es können Meerwasser- oder Süßwasseralgen, Phyto- und Zooplankton kultiviert werden.

Cultivation unit for plankton breeding
The plankton light reactor II has a volume of approx. 5 l. A simple system for producing plankton in the natural food chain. Within the plankton light reactor II, microalgae are cultivated using light, fertilizer, and the carbon dioxide content of the air. These can be fed directly to many filter-feeding invertebrates, or used to breed zooplankton. The integrated 10 W LED light provides sufficient light for a good breeding rate. If the nutrient content is sufficient, the mass of the algae can quadruple in 24 hours. The plankton light reactor II is equipped with two connections for the simultaneous supply of air and CO2. If there is a high demand for plankton, the CO2 content can be increased by pH control. There is a holder for a pH probe in the lid. With normal requirements, however, additional CO2 is not required.
For easy partial removal of plankton, there is a hose with dosing clamp and holder on the housing’s lid. Saltwater or freshwater algae, phytoplankton and zooplankton can be cultivated. For ventilation, we recommend our air pump Mistral 100 or larger types.
