Plankton AI has some of the best ai covers out there. His voice is just perfect for rock with the scratchiness in his throat. I think Nirvana covers would sound great with plankton
it's unexpectedly quite genuine and emotional, on par or better than real life covers because he's way more intense and passionate, as if he's on the verge of tears.
The voice actor for plankton would actually blow out his voice being planktons voice isn't the real ton. So having to change his voice range to sound like plankton and then try to hit notes would be stressing as hell.
Singing like this isnt that hard actually, im sure the voice actor could pull it off, voice actors have a lot more training than vocalists, I'm sure being on spongebob is no exception
This is probably just my musician brain talking, but the little hiccups the ai has make it sound like he's on the verge of tears while singing, and that combined with the somber acoustic guitar and string section? *chefs kiss*
I agree, but O'Riodan's voice also has a lot of intentional hiccups throughout the song which I think convey that feeling also. If anything this actually seems cleaner in a way

This is better than Bad Wolves version. Theirs is ok I mean yeah it's good but the original is way better and this is right up there next to he original.

I hope all these AI covers inspire the voice actor to actually take up singing for real, it doesn't have to be an alternate universe, it could be right here and now, it's all his voice after all.
@@Verociity at some point in the future there's gonna be a SpongeBob episode of plankton singing, it'd be even better if there's a talent show and u just see plankton roll up with a tiny guitar and as he's performing, the audience just starts vibing and crying. Even Mr krabs is left amazed and plankton just humbly says thank you for their time and goes backstage, only for Mr krabs to accuse him of some scheme or faking it. . Plankton just calmly replies that some things are just worth giving an honest try. *as he walks off back to the chum bucket, he pulls out a remote with a button and everyone gets their mind wiped. Karen then ask, why he did that. . Plankton just shrugs it off and says he's given up that life and just wants to run a great restaurant

Some interesting information about this song for those that didn't know, It's a song condemning the fighting in Ireland during The Troubles. After the IRA detonated IEDs hidden in bins in a town in Cheshire that killed two infants. What's interesting is it isn't Unionist or Nationalist. It's Anti-Terror, imploring both sides to stop killing each other for flags, identity or ideals.
