This is the best binder I have ever used. I love that it has a sliding closure. I love that it has three spots to put your pens or pencil. I love that I can put pictures of my family to separate my sections. I love how big the rings are and it holds so much Tonya I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this binder. ❤
In an unforeseen change of events, im back in my Franklin planner classic and it feels good! I’m missing the wonderland paper but I do love the flexibility of rings and my trusty Carrara pages.
@@TonyaPlans I need a daily and wanted my daily, goals and finances in one place. If it’s not in the same binder/book, I won’t keep up with it. I create my own inserts for goals and finances, too much to tape in to wonderland or have to draw it all in.
i set up my 2023 before your inserts came out...if you're doing the same for 2024, i'm definitely buying, then! I use horizontal for home and vertical for work. this makes it easy-peasy!
OK where to begin! I’ll begin with your lovely nails! Then the binder. I have the brown one and I love it! The one you’re using today is equally as lovely. One of my favorite colors. Then the inserts. I did look at them previously, but apparently didn’t look at them close enough. I absolutely love the minimalistic design. I’ve been using the FC daily planning pages since they were introduced 30+ years ago. Maybe even longer. But this past year I kind of slacked off the last few months. I absolutely love the daily pages but I am retired and rarely need that much space for planning. Every time I go to the one page per day I miss the two page per day. Of course I do fill up the other page with things other than planning… I make a lot of lists. Sometimes I journal in those pages or use them for note taking when listening to podcasts. Even when I do use daily pages, I still like to have a weekly overview. Your planner set up has given me lots of ideas. I really think I could use your weekly planning pages the way you are using them, and if I need extra space on a particular day I could just use the Notes pages or the horizontal weekly space. Thank you for another inspirational video and it never ceases to amaze me that you work full-time, take care of a home, raise children, Do as many videos as you do and also run a shop. That is admirable!
Tanya Ive watched your videos for years with the FC products. Then i saw you made your own binders but now i see you are making planner inserts!!! Wow i surely plan to support your shop. I subscribed and hope to find when youll have the compact planner pages.

I concur with what someone said in the review of the victoria planner on your site. The fold over flap could use a bit more width to allow for closing the planner while a pen is in both the insert loop as well as the loop in the hinge of the flap. I suspect the piece that fits over the rings to prevent ring marks contributes to the tightness of the flap fit when the planner is closed. Despite that, I love the planner. I leave the chain doubled up and hooked around the flap to make an easy grab handle when I need to go somewhere. If you made a victoria with a larger ring size I would consider getting it. Also think about making a variant of the victoria with something other than the quilted flowers. Maybe a smooth or pebbled look? I love the vellums! They are on my wish list for payday! 😊
Thank you for the feedback. I will take that into consideration! Since the Victoria comes with a chain I intentionally made the rings smaller 1.25” because I didn’t want people to overstuff the binder and weight breaks the chain.
@@TonyaPlans haha! Clearly you know the ways of planner people! Somehow I always find myself tucking more and bits and bobs into my planner. The chain seems pretty sturdy doubled up. I just received this planner in the mail. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this binder. It fits so much more than my other binder. My other binder also had the zipper that went all the way around and enclosed all of my pens and material that I had in there and it wouldn’t fall out. But I certainly love the clasp on this one and how it just you can adjust it for its size. I’m just loving this Tonya what a great job you’ve done!!
Hi Tonya, The planner binder that I'm looking for is one that is a darker purple, open, classic with the 7 rings. I did get the Franklin Covey Vienna Lavender Fields open binder but I know it won't last forever....especially since I live with it. Looking ahead!
Binder feedback. If you're offering the chain in future, it would be nice to have it to open, a claw clip, so you can run it through a pen loop for stability, if you're using the planner as a wallet/bag. As current, if you're out and about and opening the planner, the chain is everywhere, dropping out of the planner. I'd run it through the rings, but that increases the chances of ring and paper damage.
@TonyaPlans, thank you for your videos. They are clear and turn key. I'm currently in personal size and I'm strongly considering switching over to FCC. I want to try the size this year, and have only found 1 hour vertical weeklies, but would prefer the half hour. Would you be able/willing to make your vertical weeklies in compact size or provide instructions on how to resize the printables? Thanks so much.
Hello. I have vertical compact size inserts (printable file and physical inserts). I was planning to release them in 2-3 weeks along with new leather binders.
Nice setup! I have gone the minimalist way as well this year… I like the ability to choose my paper as the FP paper is just too thin! What weight is the paper for your planner pages?
I like your set up. Last year I tried for a few months to use the horizontal Wo2P but it didn’t work for me and ended up switching where I have 3 days on 1 page and 4 on another, as I don’t need to time block. However, I really like how you used the horizontal format for journaling. What a great idea!! I think I might start journaling too 😊💕🇨🇦
Hi. Do you keep work planning/meeting notes in a separate planner or notebook or are you able to use your notes pages templates within this format. Following your previous videos I know you used the Day on 2 page spread in the past. Interested to hear how this may have changed.
