So impressed to see a young person interested in carrying on skills like gardening and preserving foods. Also, someone that appreciates old things, not needing to have new and glitzy things. Wish there were more of you.

I have to tell you Maranda, you make my heart so happy when I watch your channel. You and your husband should be so proud of everything that you do. You are such a sweetheart and a joy to watch. I wish more young people were like you. There is nothing better than being able to eat the vegetables and fruit that you worked so long growing. I am so proud of you and I don’t even know you, but I feel like I do just by watching your videos. My granddaughter told me the other day she can’t wait to come over soon and make apple pie, she is 13 and we have baked apple pies together for a few years now.

Miranda, i love you so much. It shows so much how you love God and his creations when you speak. You have gotten such a blessing from the apple trees now bearing fruit. Also all the harvest from the garden you and your husband planted this year. You are a special lady. Love you and your channel girl.

Amanda you are living such a peaceful and relaxing life on that farm it's a way to forget all things going on out here enjoy it as long as you can . You have really become a homemaker and good at it and can't leave hubby out, I know you both enjoy it. I miss my garden [ used to have I enjoyed it as well, love all your garden goodies.

My mom and sister are also into canning. I can literally smell the spices coming from your kitchen. Your cookbooks are so pretty! The apples reminded me of growing up in the south. We’d eat the apples and plums as they fell to the ground.

Just found your channel and loved it. I love canning things for my family! It’s just me and my husband now but I still love it. I do make canned gifts for my family for Christmas present. My favorite thing to make with apples is a baked apple sauce with brown sugar and Vanilla bean. So yummy.

Pull your knobs off, if you can, when you clean your stove back. It makes cleaning so much easier. You rock!

I thought of you today at breakfast. My husband made a Summer squash dish that was delicious. I want to share the recipe. He did this on the Blackstone griddle. It’s 2 medium green summer squash 2 yellow squash 1 medium orange bell pepper all cubed, 1# thick sliced bacon cut up, a 1/4 cup brown sugar, salt and pepper. Start with the bacon cut up add cubed squash and pepper with olive oil. Add brown sugar, salt and pepper. So easy andIt don’t take long. It was delicious. With all your gardening and harvest you have thought you might like this dish. Love watching you! Everything about you! Thank you for all sharing. 🥰

Loved seeing this kinda of content! We need more of this! Loved seeing you can and harvest apples and pumpkins from your property. Please do more of these types of videos! I’m in my early 20’s and have been learning how to can and garden these past few years with my mother-in-law. We just planted a few apple trees in the beginning of this year and also have a few varieties of heirloom pumpkins ready to harvest soon! It was very encouraging seeing others around my age taking interest in these types of skills/lifestyle as well.

Good for guys! That is a lot of work prepping the apples but I'm sure so worth it! Before you declutter the pumpkins, I would consider covering them with your old fabric or something cute!

Watching you makes me wish we had a place to garden. our backyard is full of trees and we have a slope sides so gardening us almost impossible. but you’re harvesting was wonderful and for those of us that don’t have an apple tree we can go to garden centers and get bushes bushels of apples to accomplish what you’re doing. thanks for sharing all your wonderful canning ideas. I agree with the other commentor it is wonderful to see young people carrying on traditions of the past that will sustain you in this crazy world. God bless you honey

Wow it is so nice to see all the canning you have done. I did a lot of the same things when my children were young. There is just such a good feeling when you open those jars of home made items in the winter. When I was young my family had pear trees. We made pear butter and pies. That homemade apple butter looked SO awesome it made my mouth water! You two certainly got a haul from your garden this year, those pumpkins are beautiful. So happy for you that your garden was such a success!! Your pretty fall cookbooks, you could display 1 or 2 in the back wall of your hutch with the beautiful covers facing out like you do with some of you decorative plates to fill in the back wall to add fall color or get 3 small picture frame holders and display the cookbooks on top of your fridge, with a couple small pumpkins or dried floral. Saw on tik Tok the little Debbie oatmeal creme pies used as a crust with a spoonful of apple pie filling. She used silicone cupcake holders and spread the oatmeal creme pie up the sizes to make a small pie shell then a the pie filling. Love that you are canning!

Wow. You have canned, cooked ECT. That is going to be so good. One thing that you can do with tomatoes is freeze them. Wash the really good and dry real well. Cut the core part at the top. Put in freezer bags and freeze. You can even slice them. When you take them out of the freezer put them in cool water and let thaw. The skin will come off so easy that you don't have to peel. So easy

I really enjoyed this FALL video. Decorating for this season is my favorite thing to do. I’ve been collecting little bottles, twine, lace, skeleton heads, etc to make potion bottles with my granddaughters. Greetings from Frankfort, KY!

My apple crisp is my Grandmothers. No brown sugar or oats. Have never seen anothet like it. The topping is flour, butter, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix softened butter in with a pastty blender and sprinkle on apples. Love both kinds.
