It's great that you're writing is moving along. I used to be a pantser until I discovered the Save the Cat Beat Sheet by Jessica Brody. It helped me finish my novel. Whew!.... By the way--I left you a message on your blog too hahaha--would you be up for a collaboration video? Talk to you later. Take care!
Ah yes I've watched a few other vloggers talk about the Save the Cat beat sheet - it seems that loads of writers swear by it! One of these days I'll get around to learning more about it haha! I'm so sorry I didn't see your message on my blog! I'm very disorganised when it comes to running my various online presences... I'll take a look now and reply!
I've always disliked this major distinction between pantser/plotter, because I feel like everyone has their own process that is some variation of a mix of both. I do a variation on the snowflake method myself and you described it pretty well! Also, yes--names are hard 😂I'm plotting my Camp NaNoWriMo April novel and for some reason that's literally the hardest part!
I totally agree! I suppose in the end they’re all tools that can be used to tell a story, rather than strict cliques we all fit inside. Ah good luck with Camp NaNoWriMo! :)
