Dioscorea bulbifera is a highly invasive noxious weed in the SE, I don't know if its a good idea to grow them. There probably isn't enough rain in California for them, but they are a serious menace, when people get them in their yard its next to impossible to get rid of them because they reproduce like nobody's business. You might want to check with your local agricultural extension.

can confirm, I was at the plant sale on the first day. Definitely looks like the selection was completely picked over by the time you got there. Tropical plant tent had pretty good selection of obscure anthuriums on day 1.

Thank you, I appreciate so much your calm soothing dulcet voice. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, it’s just amazing how diverse the plants are and yet they all exist in our world! Snapdragons are one of my favorite flowers, isn’t it cool that you can make them snap? The shot of Theo sleeping was the perfect ending to a perfectly soothing and beautiful video.

Fun fact: your body goes into a sort of defense mode when you’re stressed or working and you use a lot of energy doing that. So when you relax you can get sick. Pretty much like an adrenaline or sugar rush but with your immune system!

You and your friends have the coolest chillest nicest vibes. We have a lot of humidity here like at the conservatory, but outside everywhere. There’s tons of air plants in the trees in my neighborhood. Very hot too though (Gulf coast).

11:29 I love the Utricularia Calycifida weeding in the moss. It's in the 5 famous utricularia species, along with gibba, graminifolia, longifolia(the one you have) , and bisquamata. And I'd love for you to have some saraccenia, i recommend purpurea, or it's hybrids. Because other sarracenias need SOOO much sun.
