This short piece captures the first few months of construction at the Plant Riverside Entertainment District, in Savannah, GA. Reimagining the transformation of a century-old power plant into a contemporary hotel/retail complex, this project is pushing the boundaries on repurposement and urban renewal in a historic city.
The brain-child of Savannah native, Richard C. Kessler, this ambitious facility will be made reality by The Kessler Collection Hotels and Hunt Construction, and will become a prime destination for the approximately 14-million visitors who come to Savannah each year.
