I have had communal tanks for years. I have never, ever had an aggressive male or female towards their tank mates. I have a small school of neon tetras, small school of Danio, two chinese algae eaters and two bottom feeder catfish. There is no sign of aggression from any of these species toward one another. I do feed my Danio first on opposite side as I dont want them to bump him in their feeding frenzy, sometimes he does get bumped but he just continues to eat and has no problem. I have made him two private sleeping quarters near the surface of the water, with lots of other hiding places throughout. Its not recommended to tank two males together. Otherwise Both male and female Betta seem to function very well with others.

Hi, very impressive 2 months old planted tank. May I know how do you maintain your planted tank without algae. Does good filtration helps to minimise algae? My understanding is that any new setup will encounter diatoms a few weeks later follow by green algae. Can share your experience, thoughts and comments. Thank you

Filtre agzinin altinda olmasi karbondioksit dagiliminin optimum olmasi icin! Suda herzaman bitki icin yeterli co2 bulunuyor ama filitre akintisi burada cok onemli faktor yasayanlarin ihtiyaci olan oksijen icin!

Hello, i was wondering how can you keep the Betta's in a thank without a lid? They'll take oxygen above the waterline. Doesn't the temperature difference effect there health? And won't they jump out?

A pleasure to the eyes as usual! I also set up a 45P for a Betta Tank a weak ago. I still ask myselfe about things like current. Do you regulate it down? Will this be a problem in nutrients (and CO2) supply all over the tank. Also I was wondering about Temperature. I really was afraid to go near 26°C because of higher temperature goes with maybe algee issues. Happy to see that you hold them on 24-25. I will go for 24°C. Greetings!
EHEIM professionel 4+ 600 is not the smallest Filter in Size and power :-) In the video it looks like you turned it off for the nice O2 bubbeling effects (straight upwards) that's looking very good.
