Planting 4 Varieties of Corn- Popcorn, Sweet, Red Stalk, & Field Corn.
Come along today as I use my New Holland TC45DA compact tractor and 2 row John Deere planter. I am planting red stalk corn, field corn, sweet corn, and popcorn- and show the different corn seeds.

Personally I think your rows looked good. I've heard that phrase about crooked rows in the upper Midwest. We did strive to look good along the roads. Thank you Chris.

Glad you got some nice weather to plant. Do the raccoons bother your sweet corn? Around here we have to use electric fencing to keep them out.

Honestly not sure on population. We do not always have the correct seed plate for the planter, so it drops more than it should. I will do an update video soon- let's just say things have not turned out as we hoped....

🙂👍🏻 Is the angle correct on your planter tilt/pitch? Our 2 row runner planter needs to be level to maintain correct depth 🤔

I do try to keep things level, but sometimes it's hard to tell. This planter was homemade by someone before we bought it, and it seems as though when the planter frame is level, the row units are not. I really would like to find a planter that is heavier and not homemade. Thanks!!

Nice Chris, dump question...Sweet corn can be sold for eating fresh, just want to know if you will dry pop corn first before selling and is the Red Stalk and Field corn also is for fresh cooking and eating

Yes- if the popcorn is dry enough, you should be able to put the whole ear in the microwave and pop it. We will see if that actually happens 😂 The red stalk corn is a colorful variety used mainly for decorating during the Fall. Thanks Jan!!

Sure did! I've been so busy, I haven't had time to edit and upload videos. I am running 6-8 weeks behind on publishing them. Not enough hours in a day this time of year.
