In today's home vlog we start the day with some potting and planting, Jackson saw that his lemon and orange seeds were finally growing, so it inspired him to want to plant every seed we had in the house! After that he shows you his dinosaur figurines and Tim and Jackson try to figure out the names of the dinosaurs. I love that he's so interested in them! Then Tim continues with his Stranger Things LEGO build, he's finished the Byers house and the Upside down Byers house, it looks awesome so far! Then we make some spicy mango tempeh for dinner from Purple Carrot. It turned out pretty good! Today was a pretty good day, Tim's test is pretty faded too so hopefully he'll have a negative test soon! We hope you had fun hanging out at home with us! You’re saying thank you to us for watching and sticking around with you guys, but it’s us that really should be saying thank you to you guys for being so open with us all. I bet some days you’re feeling too tired to edit or you’re too busy to get the camera out and record. We all have those days, but you guys always make the effort to give us content and we appreciate it! I love the home vlogs! Don’t apologize for doing what you have to do. Jenn the only thing that will take that off you cooktop is glass cooktop cleaner! It works beautifully and I use it once a week in mine. You can get it at target,Walmart or Publix

Jenn - To clean the glass stove top - Spray the cooled top with white vinegar, then generously sprinkle baking soda. Cover with a warm, wrung-out rag or towel, let sit for 15-20 minutes. Wipe with clean, dry microfiber cloth, spraying more white vinegar as necessary to get rid of any streaks. Love glass cook tops, but they can be a PITA to clean, especially the streaks! Bravo to you for all the cooking, Jenn, and love your "plate bowls" - great idea! ANY content you guys put out is ALWAYS interesting to me, and any of your true fans. We just appreciate you all being you, and sharing your lives with us. Since I live alone, and don't drive, it brings me SO much companionship, joy, love, and laughter, and I am TRULLY blessed to have found you - about 6 years ago now, I guess. You have seen me through some VERY tough times. Love you all! Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

Thank you for continuing to follow COVID safety protocols like eating outside and wearing a mask. It means a lot to immunocompromised people like me! Due to my condition, I have had to stay at home most of the past 2+ years. If more people were like you, I would be able to go to public places on a consistent basis. It is watching your videos which allow me to see my favorite vacation destination during this time.

Tell Jen that she should use Cerama Bryte on the glass top stove. You should scrape off the guck. Then put the cream on the stove and scrub with the yellow pad. Let it dry like car wax and buff it off. Works like a charm.

The Lego thing reminds me of when I was a kid and my brother had to go into the hospital for dehydration after a stomach bug--and my mom let him play with the Etch A Sketch that ended up being my birthday present. Little me was Not happy! 😂 Jackson is more articulate than some four-year-olds I've taught--and I love that he's so interested in planting things! Tim, I'm glad you're doing so well, and your test is finally fading--hopefully you'll be testing negative in a few days!

My daughter loved dinosaurs when she was little and she loved the book series “how do dinosaurs”. Also we always had the little food movies playing and there was a show called dinosaur train which you may be able to find it on RU-vid. Feel better Tim!

For where your water boiled over on the stove, you can scrub it with a sponge and some dish soap after it’s cooled down. My mom taught me that. Gets it right off! Either that or wet a towel and make it hot in the microwave and let that sit on the spot for a few minutes

Jen. To get the mark off your stove top. Use a no scratch flat top cleaner and then a flat bladed paint knife. For getting paint off. The cleaner loosens it. Then the special knife will get it off. With out hurting your stove top.

Jenn, I use a retractable razor blade on my stove surface. If you get the angle just right and scrape, all that stuff comes right off. Like when you clean paint off a window. I spray mine down first to get it wet with Mrs. Meyers Lemon Verbena. Let sit a bit and then scrape it right off. Hope it works for you too.

To help with the bitter taste of tempeh it helps if you boil it for a few minutes before crisping it up. I love that you guys eat so many vegan meals 😍

For your glass cooktop I recommend Weiman Glass Cooktop Cleaner kit. It works wonders on ours.

I love watching Jackson so new things. Watching him be excited about planting things is fun. I have the same cook too, you can use a flat razor to get stuff off, and also baking soda with vinegar works like magic.

Tim it's been entertaining watching you build the Royal Caribbean ship and the Lego's. I'm not sure I have the patience. Perhaps you should buy a display cabinet and prominently display your Lego creations with pride. It takes a lot to build them and should be treated like trophies. Above the kitchen cabinets is a terrible idea as they will accumulate dust and grease build-up from everyday kitchen usage. Ultimately cleaning those bricks will be as challenging as installing them. Well that's my two cents. Thanks for a creatively stimulating couple days. Good job.

Hope Tim tests negative, and gets better soon!! I miss seeing you guys at the parks!! There is also some actual truth to tony hawk being booed, in the show you were watching. If you ever get the chance to watch the bones brigade documentary it explains a lot about how tony was treated early in his skating career, he, and Rodney Mullen, didn’t follow traditional skating methods at the time, and were looked at as “weird” or “outsiders”. Kind of ironic how in turn, they actually revolutionized the skating industry and pushed it to the state it has been. Anyways, great home vlog, as usual!! Can’t wait for the next one!! What a cute video. I love your home vlogs. Jen you can add baking soda and a tad of water (make a paste) and apply on your stovetop. Wipe with a clean cloth. That will remove the water stain.

Sprinkle baking soda on that burnt burner, add lemon juice, let it sit, then go at it with and old washcloth and some elbow grease.

Jenn!! Try “The Pink Stuff” get the paste, not the spray. To clean your oven top. I also have an electric glass top oven and it completely scrubbed off using this stuff. You can use it on everything too! Highly recommend

I have a glass stove and the thing that gets the burnt water stains off with no effort is Norwex Cleaning paste… it’s natural and amazing!! I Highly recommend it!!

I know what you mean about being obsessed - when I start a puzzle, I get that way and will sit for hours doing it! If I’m trying to get other things done, I can’t start a puzzle. Lol Documentary recommendations: Get Back (The Beatles) on Disney+ and Val (Val Kilmer) on Prime. Both are really good! I love the home vlogs - they’re some of my favorites. But I know Tim is going stir crazy. Hope he tests negative soon!

I’m with you Tim on needing to finish something you get obsessed with like the Lego sets. That comes out with me through binge watching tv 🤣. Idk what it says about me, but I love the cauliflower gnocchi! I usually get the cauliflower rice or veggie noodles from that same brand and do stir fry dinners with those.

For the water stain on the stove top. You can use bar keepers friend stop top cleaner and it works so well. I boil over water all the time and it always takes care of it.

Weiman Glass Cooktop Cleaner & Polish has saved our stovetop so many times! The heavy duty version works great on things that have boiled over and the daily cleaning spray is good too.

Spray your stovetop with Dawn Powerwash spray and gently scrape off the water build-up with a single edge razor blade. Wipe down with a microfiber cloth. That’s how I clean up with things boil over my stovetop :)

I use baking soda and cleaning vinegar on my glass stove when that happens. I just sprinkle the baking soda on the surface and then pour some vinegar over top, I mix it a little and let it sit for 20-30 mins and then use an old credit card and scrape it off. They also make a glass stove top cleaner that comes with a scrubber and a glass scraper to scrape off the residue

I love these home vlogs. You guys are great. (Edit) My mom used to be a preschool teacher and one of the activities her students enjoyed the most was when they would plant seeds and study their growth. They learned about caring for plants, the environment and all living things. And of course they learned where our food comes from. It's so great you guys are planting things with Jackson. What a bright, adorable little boy he is. 🙂

Jenn, I think your Shallot was a red onion. Use white vinegar to remove the water stain. Do not put your lego sets in the Kitchen, the steam from cooking will discolor them over time. Get well soon Tim.
