School in the day, running a tractor at night. That was my life growing up. On weekends I would head out before sunrise and pull in 12 hours later for supper. Once it gets into your blood you can't imagine life without diesel smoke, dust and fresh air.

#1. Your the first farmer I've seen actually drive a tractor lately. #2 I always do my headlands last so I'm not running over the seed and packing it in. Maybe I've been doing it wrong for the last 40 years.

Thank you Eric and Dad for taking us along as you go through your day! I love seeing how things work and you do a great job of explaining the "why" as you go. When I was very young we lived in Michigan across the road from a small dairy farm. The farmer was so nice to all of us pesky kids! He would take time to show us how he did the milking and barn chores. He also would pick us up and sit us on the cows as they were milked. The best I can remember, they had a device that actually hung on the udder on each cow. He had barn cats that would sit up and beg for a taste. He would strip a teat, then squirt a couple streams for the cats! I don't know who was more impressive- his aim or the cat's catch- but they seldom wasted more than a few drops! I was too young to see the field work (or maybe just loved the cows too much to care), so I don't know anything about how that was done. Love to you and yours from east central Florida.

The most important thing I’ve learned from watching this channel is all, and I mean ALL the work that goes into producing the milk I drink. I pause and think about that every time I grab a gallon of milk off the shelf. Thanks for all your hard work.

Now learn that all that work is unnecessary and unhealthy. Cows should not be fed corn it is not healthy for them to eat. Cow should be grass fed. Milk cows should be brought in at milking time then turned back out to pasture. Feeding corn and soy is one of the reason so many people have milk allergies. If all you’ve ever drank was corn fed cow milk. See if you can find a small local dairy that actually pastures their cows. Hard to find because the government doesn’t like it. Man it will be a eye opener for you on what good healthy milk taste like!

Why did you cancel the 2X2 fertilizer? What is the analyse of the in furrow? Have you ever tried splitting the varieties in the planter. Three and three. So when going back and forth you are getting 6 rows of each side by side. Makes a good comparison.

love your vids, no matter how mundane they might seem to you, they are still very entertaining for non farmers and dairy people. With "events" in the world being what they are, I think it would be very interesting for you to give your perspective on the prices of seed, fuel, and fertilizer. Not trying to be nosy on your financial situation, but it would be educational how real people are dealing with the prices, what these things cost, and how much goes into a glass of milk.
