For those of us that don't have the space planting the full bag, could it be placed in smaller sizes? A quarter of that? Also how long after the bag is opened can it remain viable?
Khalil what are your views on using wild cane (the ones that grows by the river and the roots looks like ginger) as a forage...tried plant other grasses but the wild cane seems more sturdy...but i am not sure of the nutritional value
When I hear wild cane I think you are making mention of pennisetum sp. Like king grass or elephant grass. Yes very to propagate and high biomass, it's a good grass and nutritional content is good also.
@@farmerkhalil Thanks for the help......i always taught they contained a lot of fiber so i avoided them...trying 2 plant atleast 2 acres because its the only crop thriving in the sandy part of the land.
