Planting My Christmas Potatoes & Soft Fruit Harvest 

Lovely fruit harvest! No Christmas potatoes in Canada. I’m growing my potatoes in 35L pots, the medium is Promix. I add a half strength liquid feed each week. The N-P-K ratio in the fertilizer is 3-1-2, the ratio that most plants take up their nutrients in. Klaus

Ooh, comfrey wraps are a clever idea, Terry. It's also a good way to take care of all the excess comfrey leaves. I've got loads of both comfrey and borage at the moment. Now you've got me thinking...🤔🤔 ~ Sandra

I put some Charlottes in about 3 weeks ago, they look to be doing ok.

It will be interesting to see if the comfrey leaves improve the yield

I've given up with growing spuds for Christmas. I can never resist eating them early and I'd rather have them roasted LOL

Lovely harvest of soft fruit Terry, those raspberries look like they've been either dusted with sugar or frozen, they are an odd colour aren't they? Sorry I haven't popped by for a while, hope Mrs K is doing better, I'm guessing she likes her tinned fish then 😊 No Christmas potatoes for me this year, they never do very well so I'm just saving some first early pots and will use them as and when needed. I have never heard about wrapping seed potatoes in comfrey leaves🤔. I have just planted 8 supermarket potatoes that had sprouted in the ground, I hope they survive the blight 🤞🤞🤞. It just won’t stop raining in Scarborough😢
