Thank you to the Creekside Nursery family for being so welcoming yesterday. My husband,Mike made sure I was able to visit on our way back home to Kentucky. He knows how much I love your videos and how they inspire me in my own flower beds. Big thank to Mary Claire for being so helpful with directions. CeCe was a delight to talk to and helpful on picking out plants. Loved watching Jackson helping out. I felt like I was visiting friends. Jenny and Jerry your gardens and garden center is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing with all of us. --Donna
The lawn looks amazing! 😍 It's so nice to see you two putting such a great effort to make all the gardens beautiful for the wedding. I have so much respect for you and Jerry to do this for someone who has worked for you and with you at the Garden Center. Many blessings to you all and the gardens for this special event.❤❤
I can not express what wonderful people you and Jerry are to do all of this planting to make sure your garden is beautiful for the wedding! What a lucky young lady, I can tell how much your family loves her. It’s going to be magical ❣️ Love the drone footage Jerry , it’s so beautiful ❤
Thanks, Jenny and Jerry, for the great reminders. Having a bit of red clay envy here in my NC Sandhills garden. Sandy soil is easy digging for sure--no auger needed😂--but definitely need all the amendments. We've done your "lasagna" method over the past few years and our sand beds actually look like "dirt" now. Very satisfying. Just wanted to let your viewers know that your tips work well for sand-dwellers as well. 😊
Wow, look how much you and your business have grown in the last few years that I have been following you!! So happy to see your hard work pay off. ❤❤❤❤
Good morning, Jenny☕️ Jerry, the drone footage was spectacular! 👌🏼 The grass is looking so fantastic 🤩 The drift of annuals is going to look gorgeous 😍 Eager to start planting up here in Mass. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
So pretty! I went to my local nursery and found the Land and sea and bought 4 bags. The guy said you must watch the people on RU-vid and couldn’t remember your name. I said yes Creekside and said I now know how to plant. He laughed and said we keep having to order this stuff because so many people talk about that place. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. We are listening!❤️
Yay!!!! I'm so glad that garden centers are beginning to carry Land & Sea! We'll keep using great products, and y'all keep asking for it at your local garden center 😀. Out of curiosity - where in the country do you live?
Omigoodness, I cannot wait to see it for the wedding! My daughter is getting married in northern WI in September, she loves flowers, and friends who are professional gardeners in the same town offered to grow some flowers for her. Swoon! Enjoy, and please share as much as you can. It’s going to be so, so lovely for your lucky employee! ❤
Jenny you are the first person I've seen on here that uses daddy Pete that stuff is awesome 💯 I used it for the first time about 3 years ago and now that's all I use for my gardens when it comes to compost that's bought. Everything is looking gorgeous at Creekside and your home gardens 😊❤ have a great weekend Happy Easter to all
That is going to be breathtaking with all those petunias! Yes, that’s how my baby pillow talk looks after some winter weather, but I don’t have a wedding, so I can wait for it to push leaves. I can tell it’s green at the base.
LOVE the vista series. I'm using them around my town's square in hanging baskets and in planters. I especially like that you can use fewer of them to fill out pots and baskets in a setting like mine to cut down on costs when budgets are low.
I can't wait to see what the petunias look like in the next few weeks. I think plan C is the best thing for the Gardenias. Put them in the plant hospital and replace them with coleus that has a complementary color. Thank you for the educational video and, as always, it's nice to see Jerry working with you. Great drone footage 🤩
Jenny, I just can't wait to see how your landscape unfolds with all the planting you are doing for the wedding and Signature Event! Thank you for taking us along in all the preparation. I am sure it will be "spectacular". It was good to see you and Jerry working together on this latest project.
I know all the Piedmont folks complain about the red clay. I am on the NC coast and we have sand. It takes a tremendous amount if organic material to slow down water absorption. My plants require a lot of water and fertilization.
I will agree… your lawn looks AMAZING!! Don’t want any tractor ruts on that for sure! 😁. Question: I see that Brenna was right there when you spread the Biotone. I heard that dogs like it and will eat it and dig in it. Have you seen that to be true?
Jenny, I had posted a video suggestion on a previous video. However I posted it to the reaching 100K video. So it was only 1 of 5700 comments, so you probably did not see it. It had 38 thumbs up and three positive replies. So here goes: Video Suggestion. Specifically for your online customers. Show how an online order is packed and processed. Then have Johnny pretend to be a UPS Truck and deliver to your house. Then you can do an “unboxing” and show how to care for the plants thru planting in the garden.
Excellent video! I will for sure use land/sea, biotone, & slow release when I plant my verbenas in the ground! Trying for the 1st time. Would love to do petunias but the deer would just eat the flowers. They leave the verbenas alone. Thanks Jerry & Jenny! 👏🏻👍🏻❤️
Good morning creekside….. started this video and looking forward to picking it up again later…. Work calls🤣. I just wanted to say how lovely that drone footage is in the beginning is excited to see all the bare branches of the trees are leafing out😊❤️ Can’t wait to watch the rest of this video
Greetings from PA! All so beautiful!! Can't wait to see it in May! So glad you explain everything to us. I learn so much from you through the years. Didn't know the Vista series were so prolific! Going to try them this year. Thank you for sharing!
At the beginning of the video you were showing us the vista snowdrift. What is the blue flower just to the left of it? I love it! Great video! I can hardly stand looking at all your beautiful flowers and not being able to touch them! Happy planting!!!
Good morning Jenny, just a thought ,what about a hard cut back on the pillow talk and putting annuals in between them to give the new pop of color while they recover. I know how much you love your Pillow Talk gardenias.
I hope you decide to replace the gardenia, they smell so great and their white flowers would look beautiful for the wedding. I have my spirea planted with sunshine ligustrum. In another area. I have the spirea in front a green shrub. The red spirea looks beautiful in front of the green bush.
good morning. beautiful green grass and amazing plants. please send your beautiful weather north. going to ask a stupid question. why build such a large green house and only use the floor space. is there more potential to this space?
Any large production greenhouse you visit has plants growing on the floor. We have maximized our space as best as we can, but I'm sure that there are some tweaks we could make in the future.
There are several, so you can search 'Gardening With Creekside Potting Machine' and they will come up, but here is the one that I remember the machine getting a good talk about by Jenny. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cuBuSoP5sq0.htmlsi=T9_m0nWFYQYvwp5n
Could you carry Daddy Pete’s pine bark soil enhancer? I can’t get it up here in Virginia where I live. I actually have trouble finding any bagged pine bark soil conditioner.
Not that any of your plants should perish how they have been so lovingly planted, but...in the event, if you save some of those in case you have a hole from the accidental death of one of the plants, you could always pop a back up one in there. I'm thinking you've probably already planned for that though! 😄
Good Morning to you both. Love the drone footage. I felt like I was coming to work with you 😊 Can’t wait to see the flush of white….I am one of those that are new to clay soil after 40yrs of gardening in NJ, I’m in Virginia Beach now. Thanks for the amendment tips. My question is how thick do you lay down the Land and Sea compost? What would you use if you couldn’t find Pete’s amendment soil?
After watching your supertunia videos I am thinking about using them. Do you have to worry about bud worms on your supertunias in your area? Thanks for all you do! Kelly
Hi Jenny! Can we even plant supertunias in the ground this early out here in Western Oregon?? I haven’t even seen any out in the garden centers yet. We’re an 8b here, though still rather cold and wet during the day.
Do you have to use BT on your petunias? I will have no flowers if I don't. That flower bed would be a chore if you do. Can't wait to see it alm flushed out.❤
How do you use the water soluable fertilizer when you will be fertilizing that large white flower bed? Do you have a large fertilizer container to help you water?
Melissa is a blessed bride, she is going to be taking nice pictures around flowers.🤵🏻👰♀️🌼🦋🦋🌹🌹 The best decoration God’s creation for the wedding 🌸🌷🌷🌷❤️🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🌼🌼🌼🌹🌹🌹🌹 Jenny your treat your employees with kind and love.
Just my opinion, I would pull all of the gardenias and plant with more gardenias. I’m thinking that you probably have some that are in better shape in the shrub lot ? Because I LOVE gardenias I would get the new ones settled in as fast as I can. Because your a nursery I might even go as far as buying more gardenias from a grower that maybe is ahead in growth so they look spectacular for the wedding and for your up coming event ? I don’t know what their supposed to look like this time of year because I can’t grow them, I tried, but if you could find some that have leaves on them and small buds wouldn’t that be lovely ? Again just a thought, because to not have beautiful gardenias in that area would make me cry if I could grow them. 😢🪻💚🙃
