@@janiemiller825 detox symptoms? Like withdrawls from drugs? I personally never felt any symptoms when I cut out animal products but I was a teenager and pretty healthy at the time anyway. My mother went vegan a couple years ago and her blodd pressure went down and her kidney function improved a lot probably because she didn't need to take the harsh blood pressure drugs anymore.

As many know, I like to share this personal story.... I am from TEXAS....land of MEAT and DAIRY....and yes, for 50 years I was a die hard everyday meat and dairy consumer. 25 years ago I was hit by a car riding my bike and it damage (broke) to my pelvic bone and clavicle and moved my lower spine over a half inch. I lived with it and the extreme daily pain for 25 years. Being an ex army ranger i was a tough guy and i suffered the pain but over time i got weaker...much much weaker and i gained weight, became a drug addict to pain killers, heroine, meth and cocaine. Then one day I went to the doctor for the men over 50 full physical and got some terrible news. Along with my pain, obesity and drug addiction i was also type 2 diabetic with DANGEROUSLY high blood pressure. Promptly my doctor put me on more meds and said I needed to make an immediate life style change or i was going to die. She said I had done irreversible damage to my once powerful body. When I was 50 i had my first child (AN AWESOME BEAUTIFUL BOY) and I wasn't going to live long enough to see him grow into a man. IT WAS TIME FOR A CHANGE... For the next three weeks I did some intense study and got turned onto a movie called GAME CHANGERS and FORKS OVER KNIVES by a channel called PBN (plain based new) and the WHOLE FOOD PLANT BASED DIET. AND CHANGE I DID...IMMEDIATELY. In just under four months time i lost 30lbs, I began feeling healthier and stronger. I quit doing all the harmful drugs and started working out. My next doctor visit was nothing short of SHOCKING to my doctor and myself. My diagnosis was amazing....My blood pressure was back to normal and i was no longer diabetic. I dropped 40lbs of weight and gained 10lbs of solid muscle mass. Now I work out 5 times a week with the dream of being a 60 year old competitor with a story to tell. Im 53 now and in my book thats one hell of a accomplishment. I have since made it my purpose in life to share this story with everyone I can in hopes of inspiring change not just in those who need it but in everyone. If i can do this, YOU CAN TOO. I will never go back to my bad lifestyle and I WILL watch my son grow up. NOW I CHALLENGE and and ALL of you to do BETTER! ONE WORLD=ONE LOVE

Wowwww! We've been so misguided about food that I'd no clue why I've to take thyroid medication for life, how I got borderline diabetes....coz I consume wrong food. It's only recently I came to know how much harmful dairy products are and I immediately put it on my facebook to inform more people about it and went vegan. My only regret in life is that I didnt put myself on a whole food plant based diet sooner. I've only been vegan for 3 months now but I've already lost 60 pounds on fat and my mental health is even getting better. I use to have panic attacks thinking I would end up like my parents who have type 2 diabetes and major heart issues. I was dangerously close to hitting pre-diebeties with 117 as my glucose levels. Now it is below 100 and I'm on a high carb whole grain diet from working out so much. I'm only 29 and I'm starting just starting to feeling like my age again. Now my goal is to feel the best I've ever felt!

Plant-based news promotes propaganda that fish is unhealthy and actively prompts vegan junk food from subway and KFC and McDonald's so what is it is vegan about your health or the animals if it is about health then why do you make videos when a non-vegan restaurant make vegan junk food I but go all on abord when talking about unprocessed food like fish I wonder Plus The title should be why vegan doctors like to hate anything that's non-Vegan I can make a whole video about why brown rice is unhealthy because the high level of arsenic cause cancer so therefore brown rice is unhealthy what about the DHA IN Fish is better than ALA in plants and much more bioavailable I think I would rather listen to what longest living healthy Japanese are eating whole food unprocessed diets just because most vegans are less likely to smoke and drink alcohol and eat less processed food doesn't mean that vegan diets are Heather at all the fact that pesco-vegetarians had the lowest hazard ratio for all-cause mortality in the Adventist Health Study 2 despite pollution? I can see the ecological and other ethical problems with eating seafood, but doesn't epidemiology contradict the claim that a vegan diet is healthier than a pescovegetarian diet? I don't think I know better, it's just that I see some contradiction here. This study on vegans' use of saying vegan being Heather than meat-eater has clearly shown the opposite true with the fish-eater this doesn't mean vegan diets are unhealthy but not optimal as whole food plants based with some fish since this diet provides all the nutrients from plants and B12 DHA and more biologically available vitamins A and D, therefore, non-vegan diets can be slightly Heather than WFPBD Not all vegans eat this diet vegans do eat refined carbs also added vegetable oils are and mock meats are not correct to say that vegans are automatically Heather because their diet is vegan Any idea, why pesco-vegetarians had the lowest hazard ratio for all-cause mortality in the Adventist Health Study 2 despite pollution? I can see the ecological and other ethical problems with eating seafood, but doesn't epidemiology contradict the claim that a vegan diet is healthier than a pescovegetarian diet? I don't think I know better, it's just that I see some contradiction here. Thanks for your reply. The level of mercury in fresh Atlantic salmon is 220 parts per billion mercury so which means That a 3oz serving is equal to 85 grams of Salmon 220/1000000000 equal 0.00000022 grams of mercury x1000 to milligrams then it's 0.00022 milligrams x1000 to micrograms then it's 0.22 microgram x85 for 3oz serving 18.7 micrograms of mercury The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that 0.1 mcg per kg) of body weight per day is the maximum safe dose of mercury. So 18.7 mcg from fish I am weighing about 73kg that's about 161 lb So Roundabout 0.10mcg per lb so my exposure Is within the safe non-risk limit if I eat 85 grams every day which is a lot I eat about 85 grams of salmon 3 times a week so my total consumption a week is about 255grams that's equal to 9oz a week Now we have to x3 the exposure of mercury that's come at 18.7/161 = 0.116149068322981 x3 = 0.348447204968943 Roundabout 0.35 I have to 7x the safe expound limit of 0.1 x7 = 0.7 mcg per pound per week is safe to limit I only would get 0.35 which is well within the safe limit so at this level heavy metals like mercury are completely harmless to get a negative effect you need to be exposed serval times the upper safe limit so you are wrong about fish contains omega 3 and DHA that helps the brain development and lower heart disease anyways if you are still concerned about this explore it safe to eat a fish a couple of times a week the benefits of fish completely outweigh the negative so stop spending misinformation If you still are stubborn about not eating heavy metal you do know that you're exposed to heavy materials at a far higher amount from second-hand smoke brown rice has arsenic that's doesn't mean that brown rice is unhealthy like fish the benefits outweighs the drawbacks of combining fish with prominently plant-based is optimal for health 👍 nice logic very mon biased video

This plant based foods are not true. My husband said from the beginning these issues about eat this eat that. He said I will not listen to the media. I will eat what I want because in ten years time they will then say, the foods that was bad to eat is now good for you. So he eat anything. Never eat vegetables, fruits even banana. He eat bread meat go to hamburgers shops, McDonald's, Barger King. Burger runch. Until now he is 80years old. He is okay. He don't drink alcohol, no smoke. He never drink water just orange fizzy drinks with aspartame on it. Also orange drinks concentrated delute with water, HE went to the doctor checked up, heart, blood pressure 120 over 80 always. The doctor told him, your blood pressure is like 20years old. So he said to the doctors, can I have the body of 20years old? He sleep up to 10 hours 11 hours every night, punctually. He walked everyday eat everything like biscuits, cakes sweets chocolates wafers his best, balacha cacao biscuits chocolate wafers. All candies everyday. He even put some candles in his pocket when we go out. Me I followed the good diets I got breast cancer. Pork almost everyday. Fish and chips Also one of his favourite. I am almost convence to follow his diet, but I cannot stand all the sweets foods. Our fridge not vegetables all full of sweets biscuits and cakes. He will take me to restaurants so that no washing up. So I also indulge myself. Especially the fish and chip. Oh my burps are oils and fish. This is the real true life story.

But the documentary is about plant based, which believe it or not a lot of the vegan processed foods don’t fall into. So yea you can definitely eat unhealthy on a vegan diet. I think the only thing you really need to take away from this is eat your vegetables and use whole food ingredients and stop eating process food, that’s basically the trick.

I've been suffering from knee pain since I was 17. The doctors said it's because I overused my knee. How is it possible to overuse your knee at 17? I am now 27. So do the math: 10 years of knee pain. I've been dairy free and almost meat free for 2 and a half week. My knees pain are almost gone. It's not 100% gone but I went for a jog the other day and I didn't feel pain while running. Well , they had part of the Equation anyway...........NO Processed foods, NO SUGAR is the Most important , some diary is not so good , watch the corn based sweetners in most EVERY food produced today , the wheat flour in every bread or the CARB based foods that is EMPTY carbs . Better to check this "DIET" against a KETO diet.........so they do have some good ideas in this diet system............it is NOT based on MANS history of Hunter / Gather , completely in our long history of coming out of the caves . SUGAR is what majority of people consumes today , it is CHEAP and like a drug to our minds..........so FOOD companies tend to use the FLAVOR enhancing SUGAR , to get us to eat their PROCESSED foods in a BOX or can............THE breads is what puts weight , along with SUGAR , on our bodies, as the WHEAT, is turned into starch/sugar in our bodies . Is good to be informed what we are putting in our bodies , as our source of energy burning and giving us our best chance of good HEALTH. We would not dare put in perverted FUEL in our cars gas tank............WHY do we expect our bodies to be well FUELED by this junky foods , that is pushed on us by the ads , and displays in Grocery stores ??

It is quite interesting to see the big stubbornness in America's dairy industry... Personally, I live in Sweden and I addapted the entire reduction of meat and dairy products three or four years ago - starting by removing pork for starters. Today, I feel great! The last meat I ate was from chicken and that was last fall (2017). I have become more energetic and feel less tired than I used to before. I sleep less during the day and it feels amazing! Fruits, vegetables and other plant based meals are amazing and once you have made this path, there is not really a choice of going back - because you want to stay healthy!

I have a question. What did you eat when you ate meat? Did you also eat a bunch of other refined carbs and fats? Because the results seem to be the same either way. If people go onto a high fat (regardless of whether it is through animals or plants or a mix of both) low carb diets they by default cut out refined shit, eat more whole food, less processed stuff. Everyone in these stupid arguments are going from shitty diets that are high in carbs (especially high fructose corn syrup and other refined grains and shit) to either a heavy animal product diet but more whole food, or to a heavy vegan diet. Both report feeling much better. Chances are you would feel similarly better if you had chosen the opposite path, as many do, as well.

@@Threebridgecastle I appreciate it, but I have done much reading on this. In fact, people on keto very often when tested have very low ldl levels. The larger hazard is mixing animal fat with carbs. Ie your burger with ketchup and fries. Like you, though, I don't care to dig up my sources for this. Saturated fat is demonized but there are very very few good sources that can definitively say that it actually does any damage. Consider we've evolved to eat meat and animal fat to grow our rather massive and complex brains. Our digestive system is shortened and digests meat better. We have a defunct organ that was supposed to be used for digesting tough fibrous plant matter called the appendix and it no longer serves its purpose because we don't eat that way for a long time. We are meant to be omnivores. That includes meat.

So 18.7 mcg from fish I am weighing about 73kg that's about 161 lb So Roundabout 0.10mcg per lb so my exposure Is within the safe non-risk limit if I eat 85 grams every day which is a lot I eat about 85 grams of salmon 3 times a week so my total consumption a week is about 255grams that's equal to 9oz a week Now we have to x3 the exposure of mercury that's come at 18.7/161 = 0.116149068322981 x3 = 0.348447204968943 Roundabout 0.35 I have to 7x the safe expound limit of 0.1 x7 = 0.7 mcg per pound per week is safe to limit I only would get 0.35 which is well within the safe limit so at this level heavy metals like mercury are completely harmless to get a negative effect you need to be exposed serval times the upper safe limit so you are wrong about fish contains omega 3 and DHA that helps the brain development and lower heart disease anyways if you are still concerned about this explore it safe to eat a fish a couple of times a week the benefits of fish completely outweigh the negative so stop spending misinformation If you still are stubborn about not eating heavy metal you do know that you're exposed to heavy materials at a far higher amount from second-hand smoke brown rice has arsenic that's doesn't mean that brown rice is unhealthy like fish the benefits outweighs the drawbacks of combining fish with prominently plant-based is optimal for health 👍 nice logic very mon biased video 😂

Going on my fifth week on the whole food, plant based diet and my poor old sick body loves it. I can't go back. No toxins, no GMO's, no gluten, no dairy, no meat...sounds like a lot of stuff. It is but I can deal with it. The people at the ER told me there was no way diet alone could help my colitis and diabetes and promptly gave me some more antibiotics. From what I learned, the new antibiotics are a cause of the colon and digestive issues, because they wipe out the immune system in the process. It feels like a spiritual thing as well.

Yes, he really calls the cholesterol-lowering statin drugs “supplements.” Most of these are intended to make up for the nutrients one misses out on by avoiding animal products. I was always told that when low on iron to eat red meat and that if I wanted to lose weight to go keto . That was until I went to the doctor and they told me how high my Ldl cholesterol was . I was so confused at how something supposed to be beneficial to me could stir me so deep into the wrong direction so I began researching myself what helps with iron and learned about heme iron and much more ; I went plant based after hearing the many testimonials and benefits and now I no longer have an iron deficiency , I’ve lost my visceral fat and my depression is gone !! Only a week in and at my doctors appointment today my blood pressure had gone from a consistent 145/90 to 110/68!!! I was speechless! I’m looking forward to resolving my other health issues as well!

I had some serious cardiovascular/metabolic problems about five years ago. I tried to get better. I got at least an hour of medium to high intensity exercise every day, cut out drinking/smoking, followed what most people would consider a balanced & healthy diet and took a ton of supplements to help with blood pressure and stress. I improved but hit a plateau where I didn't seem to be able to improve beyond. That changed when I went WFPB. Pretty much every measure of wellbeing improved and has carried on doing so. I've also had the energy and focus to move up several paygrades by studying and working my way to a job I'd never have imagined myself able to cope with. I'm excited by my work nowadays, not terrified, tired and frustrated with how hard it is.

Around 16 min 50 sec "Folks need milk every day.... like oxygen"!! I didn't know if I should laugh or vomit! But from an animal cruelty perspective, I think vomit is more appropriate

Since milk causes mucus congestion, vomit is a part of the milk package.

Look at the first guy opposing the amendment. He barely walks. He is grasping for breath while speaking. And he is got the courage to speak against these life changing findings.... :/

I’m sold! Fantastic documentary! While my heart sank when the amendment didn’t pass in Kentucky I’m encouraged by Dr. Cambell and his son. Both are amazing men!

Thank you for your love for the well being of others. I think it’s clear that money is always going to be more important than saving lives and our planet. The most important thing I think is to start in the homes and spreading it with others. People who are suffering from diseases are going to follow if they are shared the information and see the evidence behind it all. Who doesn’t want to be well? if they’re not educated, they will not know how to save their own families and passing it on. Thank you for your kindness. ❤️
