First three attempts, I more or less used my Pyramid of Doom strat for this level: Winter Melon for attacking, Primal Sunflower for sun production, Boingsetta for dealing with graves, Explod-o-Nut to serve as a wall, Grapeshot as my heavy insta (And another grave counter), Gold Bloom as a secondary sun producer, Chard as an early-game wall, and Ice Bloom to stall out the Gargs (I'll run Iceweed in place of Ice Bloom if a level doesn't have Gargs). It worked in the early game, but by the mid game, it kinda fell apart. The defense really struggled to handle graves spawning in the middle/near the left of the lawn, especially if Boingsetta and Grapeshot were on cooldown. As such, I ended up dying twice to unlucky Torchlights that spawned via Necromancy near the back (My game just crashed on the third attempt). For subsequent attempts, I made some changes to the loadout to accommodate issues this defense had with the level. Firstly, I swapped Chard with Hurrikale. Chard was lowkey pretty useless after the early game and was just a waste of a seedslot. Hurrikale provided more consistent knockback than Chard could, especially during the mid-late game, and also proved to be a solid counter for Imp Mummies. I then swapped Explod-o-Nut for Kiwibeast. Kiwibeast would get more consistent damage onto the Zombies and could rack up heavy damage quickly, in addition to being more helpful against sudden grave spawns should it be knocked towards the back. Those changes proved successful, but my game crashed before I could finish the level. I then replaced Gold Bloom with Thyme Warp on my next attempt, since I was already getting a ton of sun from the Primal Sunflowers and Thyme Warp was a helpful last resort against any Bucketheads or Torchlights that spawned near the back. After one final game crash, I managed to beat the level with a Winter Melon+Primal Sunflower+Boingsetta+Kiwibeast+Grapeshot+Thyme Warp+Hurrikale+Ice Bloom loadout. I haven't kept up with the Weekly Challenges in a hot minute (Didn't finish The Great Deflate on time, borrowed someone else's strategy for Close Encounters to get a first-attempt win right before the level closed, and I think I straight up skipped Prehistoric Topsy Turvy all together), but of the ones I've played, this one's up there with Springening as my favorite so far. It's definitely one of the easier Weekly Challenges, but the constant grave spawns and Necromancies do a lot to keep you on your toes, even with a pretty tight defense. I also think it uses the AE lineup pretty well, though I'd appreciate more Tomb Raiser in the late game.
Great strategy, was able to complete my first Penny Challenge because of it. However, I did one change, and swapped Tumbleweed for Thyme Warp, as direct counters for the back lawn necromancies. Really came in clutch in the last third of the level.
for me it worked better to change hurrycole (i dont remember how is written) with tyme warp, i lost the last wave with necromancy melting 2 lanes and beign defenseless
