Zombotany was always a favorite game mode of mine just because the gimmick was really cool, so a fan made track for it is a welcome surprise!

Fun fact: "Zombotany" was an old unused name for Plants vs. Zombies as the game itself. It was later reused for this mode, but the unused track was named after the older game title.

Unrelated, but I freaking love the accompanying art!! 💜 It makes the Zombotany Zombies look way gnarlier, and I honestly prefer them over the official designs (even though there's no offical zombie sunflower, lol)!

Seeing that you take on the Zombotany zombies have wilting plant heads, if I were in PopCap or EA, I would have suggested these designs if Zombotany were to ever come back in PvZ2 or 3 as these tie back to zombies being undead.

Finally, an actually good take on zombotany in pvz1, the original unused version is pretty mid ngl, and any other take is usually just whisperjas’s pvz2 zombotany soundtracks converted into the pvz 1 sound font and just ends up sounding kind of bleh. This one, while still taking influences from whisperjas’s versions, doesn’t just outright copy it but rather properly adapt it into smth more akin to pvz 1’s style while still doing its own thing. Good job 👍

The original track, while sharing the same name, was not made for the minigame. At the time of the songs creation it was made for the final boss, and the minigame's name was War and Peas

Nah Misfire probably fine, Popcap/EA don’t care about fan music and remixes for pvz games, esp considering this track is already inspired off a series of fan music for pvz which were used for a mod. Outside of like really pvz heroes fangames of all things, they tend to not care about fangames and mods, WCHB (which I presume is what you’re referencing) is just an outlier. (probably because it was a fangame that advertised itself as basically a better product of a game that’s still in development and could easily be confused with the official game it was based off of)
