If anyone wondering why I haven't uploaded in yonks it's because I don't have anything to record with they unfortunately got lost and I'm unable to afford another one at this time
I remember this game, I played it when I was about 9 year old, I came here again to just relive this memory, and now come to think of it, maybe my childhood wasn't as bad as I've pictured it Time sure changes huh...
Yep until pvz 2 comes around now you have to pay to get better plants and upgrade them so you can defeat harder levels in the old stages of pvz 2 i liked it until they added plant upgrades so i can beat harder levels and to that i need to buy piñatas. But still it's a good gamt tbh.
Me: how strong is your roof? Dave: *yes.* hate to ruin the fun of the comment with the (edited) thing that appears next to it but I know its the users roof, but I'd count it as daves as its the only character were really introduced to in the neighbourhood
This boss was one of the easiest, yet fun to defeat. The music back then was a jam, bringing the "this is your last plant, use it wisely" Vibe. I hope they remade the final song with more orchestral vibe Man, I want my childhood back, stuck within this technology sometimes sucks... just remember we as a kid, keep borrowing people's phone when we have none and hoping for one. I wanna be free for a while...
I remember getting this game for the first tame and playing it without stopping. Had my Mom tell me to sleep since it was almost 1 am. When I was a kid, this game was really captivating. The colors, the plants, the zombies. Man, I played a hell lot of this game!
Well, it were'nt necessary anyway.... 5 gabagges pults or 3 melons pults can defeat a zomboni without too many circumstances.... the jalapenos are good for extremely cases or to give damage at dr. Zomboss but don't waste them for nothing when you has good defense.... many pvz players don't know it.... of course zombonies are strong and annoying but not invincible again at a lane of melons pults.... sad that many players play this game without a little of knowlegde about it.... even pvz was a good teacher for me than the actual teachers from the school, this game teach me that even the plants life matter too!!!🌱❤
When dave was taken 9 year old me cried. But that rage fueled my courage to defeat Dr. Zomboss. This was the fight of my life, nothing was more satisfying to me than beating this game. Best believe I cried with joy when the end credits played and a million memories of winning and losing flew through my head. Thank you Popcap.
I heard that (idk if it's true) that EA wanted micro transactions and the old dev for the first game disagreed, so they fired the old dev and hired a new dev. That could be why it has a different style and full of micro transactions
This game was a masterpiece and still is. The way it introduced you to the game was great, you could get enticed on the first level. The music was legendary, you could love every single track. The way you could play the mini games was amazing because there will be more after yiu beat the game, and when you go onto the final level. It’s a battle for the ages. With strategy and the motivation to save crazy Dave. You beat it. Thank you PopCap
On the side note, this theme song was really 🔥 especially when the boss was spawning multiple zombies at once. Shame PopCap sold this game to EA. Double shame for EA destroying this game.
Sell outs are the worse. 750 million may seem like alot but you literally alrrady made millions of dollars from your game alone and everyone loved it. You had a life people would dream of having while entertaining others with amazing art but you'd rather get greedy and try to get a better life instead of either stopping or continuing. I have no entitlement to them making another game but id rather have only pvz 1 than a game like pvz 2 and 3 which arr just worthless cash grabs. Popcap shot itself in the foot with this decision
i too love placing flower pots and planting mutated vegetables that lob their respective veggie, while fighting an insane zombie controlling a gigantic zombie robot, in which the robot partakes in trying to defeat the plants that i have just planted; by placing down zombies with various items, such as headwear to protect themselves, fire/ice balls, or simply grabbing a camper van and throwing it at the plants, quite literally killing and crushing both the plants and the flower pots.
Pure nostalgia! Pure classic! Solid game and very fun, Ending even surpassed my expectations which is why I beat the game twice. Just such a great game!
Here top 10 10:this boss 9:egg reverie 8:mecha sonic (SMBZ) 7:Eggman blades 6:magolor 5:cackletta 4:doomsday zone 3:Zero 2 2:Sans 1:if all those bosses in my list were mushed
pvz was a powerful game because it came out at a time where games were becoming more taken seriously by both developers and gamers but at the same time they weren't cash grabs to the extent of now, thus you had genuine, sincere games that wanted nothing more than being a fun experience for people to enjoy
@@theophrastusbombastus827 i know im kinda late but im pretty sure in pv2 its said that zomboss took dave to turn him into a sleeper agent, but he just forgot the word to activate him
They are more intense than OG pvz's boss but in OG pvz it's very easy to beat once you learn the pattern of summoning zone mbies (I beat him like 150 times since 2009)
I remember playing this game when I think I was around 6 years old, and I got to the final boss and asked my grandpa to beat it for me, (he's the one who showed me the game because he's a legend). However, he told me it'd be more fun to fight him together, so we did. We bonded over a game we both loved and when we beat him we both cheered. A moment of my life I'll never forget. I then heard the credits song and had it stuck in my head the whole week lol. Braniac Maniac is also a banger.
ok that wasnt that much different from what I did, eventhough I didnt really know about the effects of the ice mushrooms on the robots and about the freedom of choice of items, but this still sounds great.
I wonder why it was the norm for everyone (including me) to be scared of the game over, because I came back to the game and don't find anything scary about it
