Yes agreed. While Popcap and EA have done little about. A online server group is trying get a tournament going by they are far from getting any tournament going so far they are just playing and testing on the possible framework and rules of it.
Placing potato mines behind wall-nuts or chompers give you more time for the potato mines to be ready and if you are really lucky, one potato mine may even pick off up to 3 zombies if all are stopped by the eating and travels at the same speed. Placing sunflowers in front of repeaters give you more time to shoot the zombies. They are much cheaper to replace and it does not compromise protection if they get eaten first. Grave busters are very useful too, helps to clear the zombie's "wall".
@ElArlequin yes, it is. because if you play the zombies, you'll only need 25x "units" to attack one single row, but as a plants player you have to pay 100x to defend one row. especially in the beginning it's almost impossible not to lose one lawn mower.
I thought Zombies always have the advantage but actually Plants can win a lot if the Player thinks. First you shouldn't be in panic if a zombies is about to get to your lawn mower, focus on powering down their barricades on target zombies. Then think of what plant should be useful for defense when a zombie is near the house.
I do try to answer all sensible questions! From memory I think I got to level 1-5 when I unlocked co-op and Vs modes, it was very early on in the game.
when your placing peashooters isnt it a good idea to put it on the second line in front of the sunflowers ive played p v z before and ive never seen someone who puts a peashooter in front of a zombie
@evick6 Personally I think it is worth it, however if you are unsure I'm sure it will turn up on a deal of the week at some point providing you are a gold subscriber.
@mrtee888 Don't be too hard on her, she was only 15 minutes into the story (never playing it before that) before I nabbed her to help out with the co-op and Vs vids so there is still her trying to get a grasp of all that's going on and also didn't know what the grave buster was and not sure if I had reached that point of the story as well at the time of this vid.
@Freesubs43 I can handle constructive criticisim, it's when you get those who blindly comment completely missing the point of why the video was uploaded in the first place that annoy me.
@ButterMeMilkiWay The disc version being available only in the US I can't confirm myself however I can't think why it would be different from the download version
-peter dihh Because the zombies brains appear more than sun so that means if the price was the same as story mode the zombies could take advantage of the plants
@larnfanzhu92 popcap.com is where you can get hold of info about the game and also buy and download the PC version, the 360 version the usual buy from the marketplace
Heres a fact if you choose plant. If you unlocked gravebusters, do custom and choose it then bust the opposite player's gravestones on vs mode. I bet most of you knew but this is only for ppl who don't know. Enjoy playing ;)
This game is not unbalanced against plants, you just need to know how to play. The early focus in the game is to get as much sunflowers/sunlight as possible. You can either use potato mines or the lawnmowers to protect you against the first wave. Peashooters are useless, always use repeaters. They are worth the wait and less space. Always place potato mines behind wall-nuts or chompers, sunflowers in front of repeaters. Potato mines need 3.5 squares of zombie travelling time to be ready.
Vs mode on the Xbox 360 version. Please note that player 2 only had 10 minutes playing for the first time ever before hand. It's in the fucking description.
I HAVE QUESTIONS: 1. can you use the shovel? 2. can you use other plants like split pea? 3. can you use other zombies like digger zombie? 4. can you get coins? 5. can you use upgrades like twin sunflower?
i have this for xbox... and i will make some videos later of multiplayer if i can.... but i wish others would do it like this, not the video camera pointing to the screen.
@AloeVera397 That would be unlikely since the VS mode here on the PS3 is non online... So if they added that to game and it's local only.... Then that would suck
The heck are you talking about? The plants have an insane advantage over the zombies. The player appears to only need to break the targets; the zombies have to make it through to the house. If the zombies focus on one lane, they die because of the lawn mower. It's either balanced or favoring the plants if anything.
