I've been thinking about that as well. I was very apprehensive about some of the stuff because I wasn't able to find much in the way of reviews by actual users, just people doing unboxing videos and how excited they were to try them but then never a follow up video. I wanted to get some hours in on some of the stuff I bought before talking about what great decisions I made ;) As it turns out most everything has worked well, with a little tweaking. Like rigging the generator up to push 240v over one of the 120v plugs so I can use standard extension cords for the welder rather than buying cords with special ends and omitting the 20amp breakers that pop at about 12 amps and just using the 30 amp that pops at about 25 amps. Much of what I do isn't code, but it is still safe (according to me).
Joe and Lisa, We are always impressed with the planning and preparation of all your projects and how well they turn out. Terry and l will be out on Christmas day. Maybe we can visit a little. If we don't get the chance then y'all have a Merry Christmas and be safe if you travel.
@@ericwade2136 my wife won't let me sell our property in North Carolina its 2.64 acres house and cottage with a creek bordering property thats always running and a pond filled with fish thats spring fed for some reason even tho I have the ideal setup I would love to move out there and own 20 or 40 acres
I've never seen a 2-sided outhouse, but I've seen pictures of a 2-story outhouse (management has the top; employees have the bottom). I'll be very curious how all the water tanks are connected. That was a good call to use a backhoe to dig those trenches -- you would've been digging forever in that stuff.
Brings new meaning to 'under new management'. I plan to run a line from each tank into two sets of valves that are tied into manifolds to either fill them or draw from them. It'll make more sense later 😉
How much did you charge for that???? How far from S Bad Bunny are you?? Looks great! Would love to get together and see everything in person next time we are down there
We are less than a mile east of Bad Bunny. We're always happy to have visitors ☺️ There are a lot of variables in a job like this. For example, the I-beams in this build were over $600 and most builds wouldn't need them and there are the 12 diagonal posts around the perimeter that add cost and strength but aren't absolutely required. That said this build was about $12k.
@@fullvegan yay! Very nice! I was looking at the green energy place for a little place like the dog guy got you showed. Also thought about just using the rocks to do something fun other than just my fire circle. We came down in November for the first time and freaked out a neighbor pretty badly since I doubt they’d seen people NEVER where we were lol
