Nice technology. But should be faster or the span of the machine should be wider to cover more wall surface in a single render.

As a retired plasterer after 40 years, I can say, by the time you phaffed around setting up the machine, moving it along and let's not forget, cleaned it out and picked up all the crap it dropped on the floor, me and a labourer could have done the wall by hand. What a heap of rubbish, designed for the unskilled to do a job badly.

How does it do window walls? I assume it doesn't try to fill the opening as that would be interesting. As a labour-saving device it looks OK but only in certain situations.

Can it do ceilings?

i saw the video , i could observe that the machine is fit for iiner wall plastering.please provide video or any information about outer walls plastering.of multistoried building

Huge chunk missing out of the top corner on first 2 passes, then theres the overlap evident when 4th section is applied.

By the time they have thay daft machine set up I would have banged on a wall. So would any good spread

So... it exists already. :) I've just arrived home from a job interview. They hire unskilled workers to learn plastering. Why not a fully automated plastering machine? -- I was just telling my dad a minute ago. And I've described it like the one in the video, here. If you need anyone who comes up with ideas, any kind of ideas, I'm your man! That's the only thing I've been good at, since I was a child. Ideas kept poppin' up in my mind. Just like now, many I've found out already exist. Others have been launched a while later by some brands... ... others I've forgotten. It so happens that every now'n then I remember old ideas I had. I still have some, but patenting is such a complicated, time eating and expensive process!... You know the project Google works on nowaddays? The one where cars talk between themselves so that they avoid each-other? -- like humans do. I've thought of that when I was 10 y.o., back in '87 or '88. ... and others.

i wonder if they have a machine to clean the mess up.

Two good guys could have brown coated the wall in a half hour,with none of problem overlap buildup,that will be hell to deal with when it dry's.

If your gone make something like this it's got to be wider and a mixer attached to feed the hopper but yet light enough to move a lot of improvements and you will be successful

good for high walls maybe and if u have never plastered before there is some pissing about the to set it up but look at the props they would have to use to reach the higher bit if done by man

Maybe the inventors have never seen a two man team of actual time served plasterers, they'd do this room including the ceiling in two days... they'd also do another room while alternate walls are drying on this one, there are two men working this machine so I don't see how you have saved anything, especially as there is a pile of waste under each run.

In the time it took them to assemble the machine my plasterer would have finished the wall.

The strip before looks dry by the time they're doing the next one. I'll have them a race. Spray undercoats would be quicker.

The best way to get plastered is to neck 12 pints on a Sunday afternoon ! :)

what's the price?

Maybe a better system might be a lift to lift the person, wheel side to side, with all the plaster in a floor hopper that has an auger feeding to a counter-balanced or otherwise assisted plaster head that can be guided by the operator. There wouldn't be need to shovel... the auger might be able to mix the plaster too.
