I preferred the first version, pretty. The grey I bought was too dark for this project but interesting to see both versions, thanks for sharing ❤️

I like the first one. Probably second one would be better if a different darker shade was used. A lot of people like greys. I'd tey that. But this is a good idea and I loved what you did.

Both are good basic ideas that can be adapted so many ways using easily available (and cheap) craft products. Endless possibilities for boxes or even teracotta plant pots etc. Thanks for sharing!

I'm a 64 year old fly Tyer looking for other ideas and this is very cool indeed. I just finished felting a couple of sets of drawers for my materials and I was wondering if that wouldn't make this beautiful box even better for jewelry. You can buy felt adhesive on one side in a 71/2" x 10 1/2" squares black or green and it goes on very easily. Just a thought and you have talent Ma'am thank you!

I don't care for either version but I'm not a huge flower fan, or a fan of anything pink :-I . However, the project gave me several ideas for a project of my own (lol) and the tips of using the piping to decorate, and hot glue in a mold for decorative pieces was truly genius! I now have to go buy a box of chocolates, which is probably the best part ;)

Both colors of decorations look good but the dark gray actually stands out more. So creative!

I prefer the first it looks more feminine, and pretty. To make a masculine one, I would use squares or diamonds I would use darker colours and your plaster of paris addition not swirly, just my thoughts.

I NEVER would have thought to add GLUE to Plaster of Paris!!! I use plaster of paris in my paint ALL THE TIME to add texture to wood, esp if I want it to look old and cruddy and chipped paint look, but I never thought of GLUE...AND paint! So cool! Thanks! And I think I like version 1, but with the added corner pieces =)

I love this upcycle! I've been saving one of these boxes, now I know what I'm going to do with it! I prefer the all pink version b/c I love as much color as possible, lol. I love how you made your own products, paste and such, for decoration.

Me too. I painted a plastic container without primer it peels. Now I know why and I'll redo it. I've saved two big boxes of containers. I use the small ones for paint and water. Cash wait to do this! I have 2 boxes of pop now🤣💖

Wow what a great idea, I’ve just accidentally seen this video while searching for something else. I also have plastic boxes and now I have a great idea what to do with plaster of Paris. I preferred the first version of the Gold highlights and I loved the hot glue idea and painting them black so overall your version all matched which is brilliant, thank you so much for posting this idea 😀

OMG how interesting and beautiful. I use some plastic containers for my art materials and sewing but this is so unique thank you now l will look at clear containers with this in mind

That is awesome! I love the way you mixed your paste. I have two boxes of it. I don't like black. If it's almost completely covered it's ok. But I'm sick of black. I love colors. I love this box too. Now I can make the paste and make one. I blew a plastic container by not sanding it and painting it without paste or primer. You're right. It peels. I'll do it over with paste🙃💖🤟😜🤪

Wow! I liked the plainer fuschia/gold with the delicate flowers. I liked the darker gold fuschia as well but it seemed to overpower the delicate flowers. It needed something different-a dark stripe perhaps.

I so enjoyed your video. Personally I don’t like the two different styles together. I think a box just using the paper would be lovely and a very dramatic version using the plaster of Paris only on another one. I love your plaster of paris work, the piping, painting and highlighting was lovely.

I like both, but would like the second one better with the added hot glue medallion if it was also pink instead of the dark color. I have seen a couple of videos where they add hinges to the box and also feet. That would really be amazing to add those to your creation! You do amazing artistic creations!

I like the first one, but I would glue a hinge to the box or make one out of fabric. Also line the inside of the box with felt. You can even attach a handle to turn it into a purse 👜. Beautiful job though!

I try to keep these containers but before I realize it my husband keeps throwing them out 🤨 Yours turned out beautifully, I can't choose - I love them both 🤩😍 !! Thank-you for the tutorial, I definitely hope to follow your directions and make in the future 👍❤️
