Larry is a beautiful person and it took Elvis, another beautiful person to see into his soul. I have heard Larry speak a dozen times and every time I am moved emotionally. I agree with Plastic, Elvis was the most handsome man I have ever seen and I saw Elvis in person three times. And his charisma was unworldly. Elvis was human but I believe the good Lord gave Elvis something extra.
Read his book on Elvis in the 90s was an interesting read but Elvis had a huge entourage who wrote books on him, all giving their stories on about life with Elvis.
I have watched a couple of interviews with Larry and each time I am mesmerized by the telling of this story. I wish I could write to him, but I don’t know his contact info. I always wonder if he told Elvis about the first time he met him etc. I grew up in a family who loved Elvis’ music. I was 10 when the Aloha From Hawaii concert aired. It was amazing! I was a couple of weeks from my 14 th birthday when Elvis passed away. He was and still is a special soul. I enjoy reading books on faith as well. Thank you for the interview. I just ran across your channel. I hope it continues to grow. I loved watching your reactions when Mr. Geller was speaking. Hello from 🇨🇦
Yess he actually did tell him about the first time he met him! Elvis loved the story but didn’t remember it, obviously. It was in the If I Can Dream book, have you read this one yet? If you haven’t you absolutely should. The most beautiful book inside and out I’ve ever read. I was an emotional wreck towards the end. Larry is such a beautiful human being.
Yes....... They met in 64 and the mediation gardens were constructed then --- The Meditation Garden, just south of the swimming pool area, was constructed in 1964-1965, reportedly built the site as a place for contemplation, a private retreat on the property.
20 Aug 2023. Larry is correct most of Elvis history. Some relatives will say things Larry didn’t know what’s he talking. They are incorrect. Larry spent more time with Elvis than these relatives. Right on Larry, don’t stop talking about the truths. 🙏🏼
Larry was the one person who helped Elvis with his spiritual quest I always enjoy his stories he knows how to tell them. A film about his story would be very welcome
People need to understand....back in those days when Elvis was born ....if you lived in the south a lot of people lived that way. Not everybody was poor, but a lot of folks were poor. Ya'll might call it a shack, but to Gladys and Vernon it might of been something they were very proud of. They owned thier own home and that's something to be proud of. That's probably why Elvis went back and bought it back. It probably made his parent's sad when they had to move out of that house. We know the rest of the story of why they had to move. Elvis was only 3 years old, but that's where it all begin with him being born. It was an important part of history that's for sure. I live in the south, so I understand what it was like for people back in those days. God blessed Elvis and he worked hard to make sure he never had to live in poverty again. I don't think he worried about it as much as his daddy did though. This is coming from all the stories I've heard over the years about Elvis' life.
Met Larry in Memphis durning Elvis week in 1997… ended up talking to him for 45 minutes. A real, kind hearted, caring human being who has never spoken a bad word about the King…I tried to get a hair cut out of him, but he didn’t have his scissors 😂😂
@@vulture.e absolutely, he was telling me how great of a human being Elvis truly was. He loved everyone , young and old , had a special admiration for black artists and black people in general because he grew up alongside them in Tupelo. He said Elvis had an amazing sense of humour , and that Elvis was ready to make some personal changes in 77, healthier lifestyle and eventually come off some of his medications, and how hurt he was over the ‘Elvis what Happened’ book. This conversation happened at a book signing across the street from Graceland on August 14 1997. Joe Esposito was also in town
@@frankieelvisbarbieri5495 wow this is incredible. Truly an experience one will never forget. Thank you so much for telling me, I really appreciate it! I wish I could talk to him in person too.
Yeah back then philosophy n all religion was in question. Elvis knew Bible had relation w God he knew his maker. 🎉 Bible is truth. Elvis was open but was anchored in Jesus christ the son of God. Perscilla hated God Bible but Elvis knew was foundation in truth. Elvis was reborn n saved had eternal life but he was humble n respected others opinion. Lisa was saved too. Their is satan hell n God his son Jesus savior. N Elvis joy music was all about singing. Elvis was God's song bird. Elvis was poor n gods grace love ❤️ blesses Elvis. Elvis was a singer but he always repented n at the end he apologized to God n changed everything. He acknowledged JESUS WAS KING. n bowed down to JESUS. ELVIS WANTED EVERY ONE TO KNOW GOD. ELVIS LOVED BOOKS LEARNING. BUT HE ALWAYS KNEW TRUTH THE BIBKE WAS MORE TYEN WORDS BUT THE LIFE OF GOD. ELVIS READ PRAYED N DID THIS EVERY NITE. NIT FOR EEKIGION WORKS TO SALVATION BUT HE BELEUVED IN GODS BLOOD WAS GIVING HIM ETERNAL LIFE. MANY THINK HE WAS SEARCHING CONFUSED HE WASNT HE WAS ANCHORED IN EORD OF HOD BUT HE LOVED OTHERS THOUGHTS N HE LOVED EDUCATED PEOPLE. BUT HE KNEE WHO GAVE HIM LIFE. JESUS CHRIST.
I'm not a hater, but everyone closest to Elvis felt Larry fabricated a lot of his stories. I can personally find numerous stories he's told change through the years. He wasn't nearly as close to Elvis as he says he was.
Larry Geller done nothing but confuse Elvis with his different religious crap. I have no doubt that he loved Elvis however he should have just stuck with doing his hair and not fill his head with bullshit !!
